    Premium, Custimizable CRM that plays well with others!

    Very positive. I have had multiple meetings with customer service when setting up and going live; they have always been very friendly and insightful when I provide ideas and questions. I have used the system with both MyCase and then with Filevine, and the "switch" was super easy, and it "just worked."

    Pros:
    I like that it "just works" once set up with an onboarding specialist. I had the benefit of using some other CRM tools that were "similar," albeit more expensive and with a less-clean user interface. Lawmatics was customizable to my workflow
    Cons:
    With so many bells and whistles and options - it can be daunting. If you have no CRM background and are unsure how your workflow and automations should look, that can be scary (though Lawmatics customer service can help here).

    I used both in the past, and both were eerily similar (but worked) Lawmatics gave a fresh look and was cheaper, making the move easy.

    The cost was the biggest thing. I expected Lawmatics, with its fresh UI and all the bells and whistles, to be more expensive, however, after the demo and consultation, I found out they were CHEAPER, and it became a no-brainer type of decision. A similar (or outright better) tool for less money? Sign me up.

    Love Lawmatics - but not all the other stuff they have added to it.

    Overall, I do love Lawmatics. Just wish they expanded on the Lead Management and concentrated on that rather than trying to be come a one stop shop for law firms. Feels like all the energy has left the development of enhancements and future of the lead management portion.

    The automations are great! I love that they can be event-triggered, and that now you can have templates. It saves us time, and each potential client gets everything automatically once they are set up. The integration with Call Rail means they are already there, just need to update with some info and start the process of sending a questionnaire to get the rest of the information. And it integrates with Clio as well. It's as close as we can get to a true single entry system, which makes us much more efficient and reduces the chances for errors.
    Cons:
    I like LEAST that we cannot add attorneys that do not have a user id with Lawmatics. I am not paying for attorneys to have a user id just so I can assign cases to them. And they will never log into Lawmatics. So why can't I add staff that does not need access to Lawmatics without paying for them to have full access? Also hate that they stopped concentrating on being a good lead management system and decided to compete with the other CMS systems out there. What ever happened to being the BEST at something and continually improving THAT? From Lawmatics to Adobe to Zoom - everyone has a full suite. I don't always want or need yet another full suite. Be the best at what you do - stop trying to be like everyone else. That isn't what made Lawmatics great. What made it great was that it was NOT like all the rest.

    It’s easy to see tasks that need to be done as well as what’s been done on client cases. The pipeline makes sure nothing gets overlooked and that people move through the process smoothly.
    Cons:
    It takes quite a bit of time to set up and fully customize. It wasn’t as quick of a process as I anticipated it would be based on switching CRMs in the past.

    The CRM UI is over all well thought out and clean. The Custom Forms builder is over all well designed and versatile. The activity log is easy to read and understand. The support staff are understanding and respond in a reasonable time.
    Cons:
    The automations system in Lawmatics was one of the primary reason that our company decided to use Lawmatics. Using it has been a series of endless work arounds. While the interface is okay, achieving the desired end always requires multiple stop gap measures. What attributes of a matter can be changed by an automation are severely limited. The only way to use the automations is generally to supplement by using multiple custom forms and Zaps through Zapier to make the automation work as desired. Because of this, automations are a Gordian knot. It is easy to get to cause unforeseen errors. This is in part because there is no testing server. All changes to the system are live fire. This has caused issues on a few occasions. In addition to this, the calendar system is less than optimal. Booking internally works well most of the time, but there is no way to send a booking request that doesn't allow for potential abuse from a external user.

    Lawmatics helps automate emails, invoices, text message, and scheduling

    It is a powerful software but can be cumbersome to manage. I find it somewhat frustrating to get support, especially with complicated customization.

    Lawmatics is incredibly flexible, allowing a law firm to set up emails, text messages, and other automations to nurture and support prospective clients. I like that people can schedule consultations without direct assistance, and pay their consultation fee.
    Cons:
    It can be a struggle to learn, and to make automations that truly work well. We had a third party vendor set ours up but it never really worked as we want it to. Trying to modify what they did to fix the issues always seem to generate more problems.

    Lawmatics - powerful workflow tool if you take the time to learn it

    It's been a wonderful experience, largely because my professional skills match well with the Lawmatics tool. It's not an easy system to learn and it's easy to make mistakes that your end-customer will see, but it's extremely powerful and has been the backbone of our very successful business growth this year. The Support team is fantastic, too. They have 2x/day open calls, an AI agent that's getting pretty good, and live chat support. The people are very knowledgeable, friendly and get stuff done quickly.

    A true end-user configurable solution with tremendous flexibility to develop your unique business workflows without coding.
    Cons:
    It's difficult to do exhaustive tests because there is not test environment or blue/green production environment. You can build complex automations that include triggers/events that are time-based (ex. 1hr after meeting ends or 4hrs before event starts) and action-based (ex. status change). These are not always easy to test, but once you enable the automation, it is live. This makes you think really hard before you enable an automation that is external (like an email to a customer based on attending or not attending an event or appointment).

    Powerful Legal CRM Worth the Setup Time

    We’re very satisfied with Lawmatics overall. It’s become an essential part of our workflow for managing new leads, sending retainers for signature, taking payments, and running automations. The support team has been helpful, and once everything is dialed in, it really streamlines practice management and client communication.

    Lawmatics is a very powerful CRM and intake management tool tailored for legal practices. It handles everything from client intake to automations, retainers, and payments seamlessly. Once set up, it makes the client onboarding process smooth and efficient.
    Cons:
    The initial setup took quite a bit of time — around six months for us — to customize and adjust to our firm’s specific needs. However, the process was worthwhile, and other firms may be able to implement it faster depending on their structure.

    I like that everything is in one place, from automations to reports, it really keeps our marketing and client management organized. Their customer support team is great, they’re responsive, friendly, and always willing to help, even if sometimes their hands are a little tied by system limitations.
    Cons:
    I wish it were a bit more customizable. It's easy to use, but it would be great to send emails to multiple audiences without having to create new campaigns, and to be able to view and edit audiences more easily.

    My overall experience with Lawmatics has been very positive. It’s a powerful and well-integrated platform that brings together all the essential tools we need, CRM, forms, email, tasks, billing, and marketing tracking, in one place. It has streamlined our workflow significantly and made it easier to manage both client and internal processes efficiently. While I mentioned a few limitations, these are more add-on concerns rather than issues that affect its core functionality. Overall for me, Lawmatics delivers great value, offers excellent customer support, and remains one of the most user-friendly and comprehensive platforms we’ve used.

    I really like that almost everything you need is already built into Lawmatics. It’s an all-in-one platform that combines your CRM, custom forms, email, tasks, marketing ROI tracking, time and billing, and a fully customizable dashboard. It’s very user-friendly since you can manage and monitor everything in one place. Unlike other platforms, data migration is also quick and seamless. I also appreciate their excellent customer support, the team is highly responsive and addresses questions promptly.
    Cons:
    Although the dashboard is customizable, some features are only available on the original dashboard. This can be disappointing because it forces you to rely on the default view instead of your custom setup, as switching between dashboards can be inconvenient. Another drawback is with email management, I noticed that when I delete a photo from Lawmatics, it also disappears from previously sent emails, which can be frustrating and potentially affect the professionalism of past communications.

    Lawmatics simplifies the intake process a great deal

    Organizes our intakes so that we know exactly what stage of the initial process they are in and who I need to follow up with as well. Potential clients can upload files easily so that if they become clients we have all of their submitted documents right there in one place.
    Cons:
    I can't really think of anything that I don't like about Lawmatics. Every feature helps with my every day job.
