Efficiency! Completely integrated CRM and Billing platform allows total integration among team members
PROSIt knows our (magazine) industry front to back and the customizations are all built in and ready to use
CONSReporting doesn't give me exactly what I need all the time

Stop Shopping - you have just found the best CRM for your Sales Team
its been a great experience. The training that your team provides with the support/help desk allows our company to do what we do best, SALES. I don't have to put a training module together for new hires, you've done that for me. And I know that if I need anything your a point/click away with help - love that~
PROSThe product is SUPER easy to use. Not every person thinks the same and in Magman there are several ways to do the same task, I like that. When I train new users on how to use the software, I can tell them how I like to do a search for a contact (for example) and give them other options as well. Its fun to see the 'ah-ha' looks on their faces when you've found a way to do a task that fits how their brain functions.
CONSThe only con I can think of right now is that Magman calendar doesn't sync with Microsoft Outlook. I understand that is a 'Microsoft' issue but ultimately to have our email calendars/Microsoft teams sync with the Magman calendar would be Phenomenal!
Reasons for switching to The Magazine Manager
we wanted more of our software to talk to each other, Magman gave us the ability to link our CRM and our Production software

Great product , a must for any magazine publisher
we use it for end to end management of life cycle of our products from CRM to proposals to invocies and flatplans
PROSits ease of use and time saving in the sales process manages all asspects of the life cycle of a publication
CONSif you get into areas without cel coverage you lose connection to software

A solid product that can do it all, if you can figure out how to use it.
We were managing our printed magazine with a series of spreadsheets on Google until we jumped to Magazine Manager. Now our team has real-time access to billing, contracts, pagination and flatplanning. It hasn't been easy and continues to present difficulties, but overall I'd say using Magazine Manager has been a benefit for our company.
CONSThough they've tried facelift after facelift, I feel that the product is just so complex and has so much "technical debt" at this point in time that it needs a complete rewrite from the ground up in order to feel like a modern product. It is complex software designed to manage complex businesses, but it just doesn't meet the user interface and usability we're accustomed to in 2018.

MagMan Review
Very positive.
PROSIt is a full CRM, the add ons/integrations are great. They are continually working to improve and have terrific customer service.
CONSIt has been somewhat counter intuitive, but they are working to and have improved this in the time I've used the software.
