Pros/Cons
Pros
- The demo was amazing, incredible, I had an instant love for the tool, the low prices really excited me.
- Odoo is an extremely powerful software. We use the Manufacturing Module and the CRM Module prominently and these have both been brilliant tools that we are very happy with internally.
- The most interesting and brilliant thing about Odoo, is its framework and how easy we can develop using it. Also some apps are just easy to learn and well documented.
Cons
- It does not integrate into social networks, nor does it manage chat internally (at least, not without losing speed). Your targeting options are scarce.
- The support is terrible, specially in UAE, the account managers for enterprise never respond and tickets are open for 3 and 4 days.
- Upon further interaction we realized these needs could not be met. Not only were we not refunded for the hours we had actually utilized, they refused to refund us any of our unused retainer.
Pros
- But we are happy with the functionality and effectiveness of Rain. The fact that Rain is continually improving and updating their system has only increased our satisfaction over the years.
- The product is incredibly user friendly, can be used on any device (not tied to a license on one desktop machine like other systems) and support is great.
- The layouts were clean and simple. The customer support was generally responsive when we needed their help.
Cons
- Label printing is terrible. No dimension option for shipping calculations.
- I've had at least 2-3 calls to different technicians ag in a row where I just felt bad for even calling.
- My longtime email address was now blocked from sending. I had to purchase a business email and the integration was rather difficult.
