  • Pros

  • Odoo is an extremely powerful software. We use the Manufacturing Module and the CRM Module prominently and these have both been brilliant tools that we are very happy with internally.
  • The most interesting and brilliant thing about Odoo, is its framework and how easy we can develop using it. Also some apps are just easy to learn and well documented.
  • Also, they have friendly and very knowledgable support staff that are there to help you succeed without any high pressure tactics. They are in it with you for the long term.
  • Cons

  • It does not integrate into social networks, nor does it manage chat internally (at least, not without losing speed). Your targeting options are scarce.
  • The support is terrible, specially in UAE, the account managers for enterprise never respond and tickets are open for 3 and 4 days.
  • Upon further interaction we realized these needs could not be met. Not only were we not refunded for the hours we had actually utilized, they refused to refund us any of our unused retainer.

  • Overall fast and reliable service with decent customer support. They are comfortable to deal with and good at issue resolution.
  • Finally we have a software that can manage our inventory quick and effectively. Love how easy the integration to Amazon was!!! The training team was extremelly knowledgeable and friendly.
  • The few questions I have had since then have been answered quickly. The support has been awesome and I really appreciate that they are located in the US.
  • Cons

  • They advertise support with accounting software, but the accounting side is VERY limited - does not take into consideration discounts, tax, or shipping so this is really useless.
  • The cost is very high and ongoing, the increases for additional users are too high in my opinion also, which does have a negative effect on business as the cost scales quickly for having more users.
  • There is too much downtime with unstable servers, and some of the functionality (lot numbers, lot tracking) are not well done.
