SharpSpring is a fully integrated cloud-based marketing tool that offers customer relationship management, marketing automation, mobile and social marketing, sales team automation, customer service and more, all within one solution.

SharpSpring can interface with any CRM on the market, so users are able to keep their existing CRM and the information contained within it. The system’s lead nurturing and scoring tools can track an individual lead’s page visits, demographics, and engagement. SharpSpring’s VisitorID feature helps identify anonymous site visitors by looking up their IP addresses, allowing users to see who is viewing their site, including their name and contact information. Other features include a Landing Page Builder and a Blog Builder. SharpSpring also offers a library of designs and templates for the user to chose from.

SharpSpring can be utilized by both small and large businesses in a variety of industries including advertising, insurance, engineering, telecommunications and more.

It is incorporated and automated efficiently.

It has a good platform that is easy to use despite some minor failures, but it solves email marketing in an automated way without any problem.

Pros

Your support guides you in every step in any problem, without doubts I can not rule out that detail. Automate email marketing by making better sales, increasing productivity and expansion within the market. It is a good Manager of customer data and the products that are created, offering customers the ability to integrate into sales.

Cons

To add the data of the contacts or of a product is badly optimized, much has to be done in order to obtain and save all the data. Some other bugs of the page that with time must be solved since I have seen that little by little the developers of SharpSpring have solved some problems, but nothing that is resolved by reloading the page.

Useful but Expensive

wonderful way to make email shout outs more uniform and effective!

Our smaller team has found it an excellent resource so far, but expansion is our goal in the medium term so it will flower once we expand our client contact base.

Pros

The features for making the emails that are sent out really effective at attracting customers is extensive, and the follow up statistics are excellent in helping us narrow down our marketing and product sales. We are looking at expanding our base and knowing whats received best is an excellent advantage.

Cons

Price point is high considering we won't use the full amount of contacts as of yet, that are allowed for the base plan.

Sharp spring helping your sales force

I like some aspects of sharpspring but I would say there were more that I did not find useful than ones I did.

Pros

the contact management componet is a great tool to keep all your sales contacts in an easy to use database. Pictures and brief bio were helpful integrations.

Cons

the calendar and crm functions are completely lacking. It does not intergrate with outlook at all

Pros

The SharpSpring marketing automation platform can be good for lead generation and helping to stay engaged with existing customers/clients via email.

Cons

Setup is a little bit difficult and time consuming. The building of forms and landing pages is restrictive, may have to use outside forms/pages to get the look you are after. Be 100% sure you are going to be able to use and benefit from this platform, there are no refunds once you sign up whether you stick with it or not.

97% of the features of HubSpot... a fraction of the cost...

Pros

- Excellent white label solution
- Amazing pricing for agencies
- Just about all the features of Hubspot
- Great customer service/onboarding process

Cons

- The "3%" of features that aren't available are a bit of a pain (i.e. tracking all inbound/outbound emails inside GMail/Outlook, easy integration with Gravity Forms) but nothing too big.

SharpSpring is my Automation tool of choice

Pros

I most like the email templates and email builder and email marketing functionality. Coming from a background in Journalism and currently focusing on content and email marketing, this is my favoured thing to do and the model SharpSpring have available is the best I have worked with.

Cons

The basic search function within the CRM is a bit limited and takes a bit of custom setup to get my client names and tags the way I want them to appear in the search.

Cost effective tool

Pros

Very easy to create newsletters, data from email marketing campaigns is useful. It takes sometime to learn how to use it but they have a very good library with video tutorials and documentation.

Cons

Initial automation set up can be difficult. The landing page designer is a little clunky but it is improving I think.

SharpSpring MA User

Pros

The tool is user friendly for the most part and has a clean interface. The tool ONLY JUST came out with a visual sequence builder so they are a bit behind on that, will be interested to see how it works compared to other tools. Support can be helpful and they take suggestions for new tools.

Cons

Things you may want to build a campaign with don't always exist for example if you want to build a sequence based on a person who comes to your site 3x in 7 days you can't it can only be 3x in the lifetime. So def look at what you need to build successful campaings first.

SharpSpring is a Great Alternative to Big MA Systems

It makes 360 reporting and ROI measurement a cinch. Everything can be pulled into SharpSpring when we can really see where our money is going when it comes to ad spend.

Pros

The price is great for all it does. It really stands up against a Pardot or Marketo when it comes to low/mid-level marketing automation or email marketing. I love that it has a built in CRM that you can easily integrate into marketing flows. Not every company needs a huge system, this a great entry pint into the email marketing and marketing automation space for small to mid size businesses.

Cons

There is a learning curve (as there is with any email marketing tool) but once you're over the hump, it's very user friendly. I also wish the incremental price per email (after you hit your limit) was less.

Sharpspring for marketing clients

Overall, it is a great replacement to Hubspot Enterprise if you can not afford the high pricetag of Hubspot. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for and this is a great options to kick off your business.

Pros

I like how it is a one stop shop. It is similar to Hubspot - but a lot cheaper! Which is exactly what drew me to it.

Cons

The design software is very difficult. Our designer on staff constantly struggled with little things and mentioned how it was not user friendly when designing forms, pages, or emails.

Great alternative to more costly competitors

Pros

We've used SharpSpring for the past 6 months and love it as a direct competitor to HubSpot for much less $$$.

Cons

The interface is not as sleek as HubSpot and you certainly don't have the same brand recognition.

Pros

Waste product with no good features i would say

There are many as above ....that we found out when we started to use it........i think we don't go much long with this tool. I would suggest go for some established products eventhough they are costly

Pros

Lists are built dynamically, content calendar is handy, support is good but not on all issues, that's all i can see

Cons

Lets go one by one:
Sales or crm:Cannot create Different sales teams, hierarchy or based on country: we are across the globe, as there is no such feature to create different team and hierarchy its really embarrassing and our sales managers are saying we don't use this tool, they might have given team creation and privacy of the teams leads
Accounts: this is really funny, every one can access all the accounts and even they can go and edit contacts of those accounts
Email sync: this is so funny, some emails gets synced and some don't.......you need to go to support team always and circle back every time
Visitor ID: This really sucks, they cant ban ISP's from their side, no country wise traffic, this is really a useless feature

Marketing: Forms: this feature is a really a headache, as we need to go to each form and enter the different embeded code, I have 800 pages with form, with 40 unique forms, they says i need to go to each form and paste a different unique code on each form and each link(don't you think thats a obstacle in using this product)
Emails template: the funny thing is they gave a default background that doesn't highlight hyperlinks, are a natural look as if sent by a individual, with these default settings your end user can easily find its bulk campaign and spam
Blogs,media,landing pages--------------leave them they are no use
Analytics: this is one more waste feature, eventhough you link this with your adwords/analytics it doesn't show most of the info

It looks like a killer platform, until you try to use it

It's very difficult to use.

Pros

The upside to this product is the promise the future holds for it. SharpSpring has a truly ambitious feature set, and once it's refined, it's going to be awesome.

Cons

There are many things that look like features, but aren't. For example, when you're creating a lead pipeline, you can create a followup policy that determines how many emails, calls, etc need to be made in each stage...and you would expect that that would auto-create reminders for your users to actually make calls, send emails, etc when they're due...but it doesn't; in fact, it doesn't do anything...they're just unused fields on the pipeline stage settings page.

Using for a long time now!

Creating talk about our company, getting in contact with potential customers and people who will possibly know someone who needs design or marketing for their business. It is a great tool and a cheaper than some of the competition. Has great features.

Pros

SharpSpring is a tool where you can send out emails and create leads and hopefully more clients. There are so many clients we've won over from out SharpSpring emails and we can watch when they open our emails, if they go to our site, what pages on our site they go to and how long they stay on the page. It is amazing the kind of data you can get from doing something so easy!

Cons

Sometimes if your mail recipients don't open 5 emails in a row they will get suppressed but there is a glitch where it suppressed more people than it should and you have to hunt inside your list and see who you should be able to email again. It is something they are working on as many people have called it into IT.

Easy to use yet very effective automation platform

Overall, we are happy using this platform as one of the platform for marketing automation. It's a big time-saver with well managed and implemented automation functions/features.

Pros

This product we first got as a package from the agency that are providing us with marketing automation services. Since then, we started using it on a daily base and there hasn't been a single requirement from us that couldn't be satisfied with this tool automation-wise. Indeed, it's quite a hardworking thing to get used to it in the beginning, setting up the campaign, etc. though it's totally worth it. Now it is fully used for marketing and leads generation. Overall, we are happy with the performance.

Cons

As I mentioned above, the platform is quite overloaded with lots of functions, that might sometimes be confusing and not that easy to learn how to use them. A bit of more filtering of the functions in the user interface would be more useful. However, all of the features/functions are super useful once you know how to use them.

Some good, some bad

As I said, the customer data and lead scoring are definitely helpful tools and not something we had previously. I would recommend it for that with all the other caveats in place. It depends what you are trying to accomplish.

Pros

Good tool for collecting customer data. Provides scoring options so you can rate your leads and contacts. Email customization and a/b testing tools are helpful.

Cons

Creating emails is not easy and formatting options are limited. Biggest drawback is that the emails are not compatible with Outlook. We are b-to-b and most of our customers use Outlook so this is a problem. The emails work, the formatting just gets very messed up and that is frustrating. Finally, the model is that all support is provided through your agency so even for very simple questions, there is no one you can call or chat/text with. I didn't know that was the case when we went with SharpSpring and that would have been a major factor in our decision.
