We manage over 600 spare parts and if one is missing, it shuts down our operation which has a significant cost impact to production efficiency / output. #### Cons Can't customize some elements as it relates to what info is on what screens, alerts, on-order still shows in low inventory. We are a non-profit organization that is part of a church denomination. We finished set-up of our system nine days before Hurricane Helene hit. Implementation was definitely a trial by fire but worked very smoothly. We had staff from Tennessee, Louisiana, and Texas come into our Georgia facility and I was able to quickly train them on our procedures. It was great because I had realtime numbers (number of items and value of items deployed) to give our director and board and we were able to print reports to use as packing lists. We could have spent a lot more money and built a customized system but I am glad that we selected InventoryCloud as an inexpensive off-the-shelf solution. We have upgraded from the Basic to the Complete solution and will be bringing on additional locations during this year. I don't know how we ever did our jobs before we had InventoryCloud. I do know that we are now much more effective and efficient. In the past, we just used a spreadsheet. But over the past few years our inventory has grown considerably and I found myself taking an inordinate amount of time making manual entries. The best thing about InventoryCloud is that it is very easy to learn and the reports make keeping up with inventory very simple. #### Cons There are just a few things that I would change about InventoryCloud. None of these are a big deal, but would make our process quicker. We are a non-profit that does disaster response work and we send a lot of items out into the field for our teams to use. When we do this we "remove" inventory and sign it out to the customer (in this case, the church that is responding). I have to enter the customer number as I remove each item. This is a minor annoyance but it could be improved. But this is a much smoother process than our previous one. #### Vendor response Hi Mike, Thank you for the incredible review. There are plenty of useful functions to help keep track of costs, locations, and history of transactions to back track and locate any user error. #### Cons We rely heavily on mobile usable and at times there has been errors that does not push the transaction through. Inventory and items do have a solid amount of information to them. History and transactions are recorder correctly. Improvements to scanning have helped streamline scanner usage. #### Cons Kitting does not work. Picture downsizing is too aggressive. Lack of picture export options. Reports require a lot of cleaning up after exporting. Lack of csv PO import. No field for landed costs on POs. Only one type of order available (no transfer or custom orders.) It also has the capability for you to build reports that tracks data you deem important. It is easy to use and even easier to set up once you get it going. I love the fact that I can access this program anywhere, including on my phone, in case there is an emergency or someone is confused and calls for help. #### Cons Overall I really do like this program, there is only one real Con I can think. We had our data imported from an older WASP Inventory program that was having lots of issues before we booted it. While all of the data crossed over, in order to fully utilize the unit function I basically had to delete the product and rebuild it. Tracking tool crib items can be made simpler. Under the old desktop system you were able to see who has items out that need to be returned. Since my company has purchased the Inventory Cloud software, it has made running the warehouse easier and more accurate. I no longer have to write down what went where and who has it. Very easy to use. #### Cons There has only been one short time that the software was acting up. It was just after an update that was done to the system and it wasn't sending my orders to my vendors. This was a moderate inconvenience for me. Once I realized that my orders were not being sent to my vendors, I called the support team at Wasp. One of the best items also provided with the upgrade is the availability of creating your own custom reports very important in tracking your inventory . It's a must have program if you want to make sure all your inventory is squared away.. #### Cons Only one real issue I've had is label printing not as easy as the previous version, Creating the label is not the real issue it's having to modify a labels size .. Not user friendly when it comes to label modification. Not a deal breaker.. I do have a work around only because I've been using inventory control for some time now. #### Reasons for choosing Wasp Inventory We've been a WASP customer for over 5 years now and upgrading seemed alot easier than selecting a new system and starting from scratch, Just so we are clear we weren't having issue that called for a system replacment.
