We just moved our domain to Wix and our Google Workspace email system broke. They helped me fix it. Also, I love that I don't have to worry about security, spammers, backups, etc. like I did with Wordpress. I can concentrate on providing content to our artist members. #### Cons I first found Wix's site menu difficult to follow, it was not intuitive to me. My experience was with Wordpress. I had issues with the differences between contacts, subscribers and people who buy subscriptions. The Automations were a bit tricky as well - knowing which ones counted in the monthly email quota. I also liked the organization of the software and the general ease of use. Working on the website was extreamly easy. I could make edits to our website without needing any knowledge of "coding" or anything like that. If I were just rating WIX as a website base id give it 5 stars. #### Cons Wix has the absolute worst customer service. We purchased an already established company through WIX and we had such a hard time figuring out why certain things were happening (ex. not being receving payouts that use to live under the old owners EIN). To get a hold of customer support we had to know exactly what to ask the AI Chat bot (if we didn't it would send us in a loop of looking at diffrent articles) or where to look for a very hidden customer support button (which is the only way to talk to an actual human). After figuring out how to contact customer support, we wanted to change how some SOP functioned (EX. payouts kept going to the old owners instead of us even after we transfered ownership) and were meet with "you have to contact each customer individually and reset their payment so you can recive that money". We have over 400 clients. We also tried to get a straight answer on how much we pay for operating on WIX (Subscriptions, emailing add-ons, user add-ons, surcharges, etc) and there was just no way for anyone to answer. It came to a point that there was so many issues we finally made the choice to just switch to something other than wix for our subscribers. This is very odd considering I've used Wix before and was able to select some pretty decent templates. There were no coding issues (backend) so my brain did not bleed as much; the CMS visibility feature is simply present. But amazingly enough it did hold. #### Cons Getting the mobile version working is absolute madness as well. Every time I move an element within my text boxes I seem to inadvertently send a random image off the screen entirely. Their prices continue to rise every few weeks or months for absolutely no reason. I have been experiencing this ridiculous bug where my custom CSS breakpoint styles seem to disappear off of the default 1024px canvas unless I refresh the editor three times. --- ### Very satisfied with WIX since years. I can really make a fully operational website with Product catalog online, Service booking online, Payment/Billing/Accounting, FAQ, fully sketched with JSON coding, Well positionned with Google and so on. Great customer support, helpful to fix identified bugs which had been always solved. This is value for money invested. Now, it is 6 years I maintaine and improve the webste with success with WIX. Being a real beginning, I felt easy to use, and could set-up all without coding myself. The build-up engine remains impressive for beginners who wants to setup their own website. #### Cons I wish there would be a tool to move my site from WIX Editor to WIX studio automatcally, even for a pay. After all the work done on my website since years, I can't see myself re-doing all from scratch with WIX Studio. Wix continues to improve their service, enabling me to run a smooth experience for my customers. #### Cons My emails go to spam. I tried to pay for mail chimp, and trying to incorporate the app crashed my site and it was down for over a week before I could get it up and running again.
