Zoho offers a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) solution tailored to the needs of small and midsized businesses. Its interface includes CRM tools such as sales and marketing automation, customer support and a help desk, product configuration and reporting and customer analytics.

Zoho CRM offers multichannel support, allowing businesses to connect with their customers via email, live chat, phone and through social media. The gamification feature allows businesses to gamify their sales process and reward employees who achieve their targets. The mobile edition gives users access to sales activities and customer info on iPad, iPhone and Android devices.

Zoho CRM's Blueprint helps in automating sales processes by defining workflows and macros for regular activities. Zoho can integrate with several existing software solutions, including Google Docs, Microsoft Office and Sharepoint. It also offers add-on applications designed for specialized business, collaboration and productivity needs.

Not the best system out there... and customer support is pretty poor

While the application has its flaws, we have been using it for over a year and it serves its purpose. Our main concern at this point is scalability, once we increase our user base significantly.

Pros

The application serves its purpose, but seems to be directed to much less sophisticated users than, say, Salesforce customers. It's fairly easy to figure out the basic functions, the reports are easy to set up, and the interface is fairly fluid.

Cons

It isn't always easy to figure out how to implement various functions. One issue we had was with the bcc function, which was blocked by an internet security application until we figured that out. Also, customer service is really poor. We use Zoho for projects too and customer service is even worse. We've been trying to work with them to figure out an institutional authentication protocol and they are useless. Not recommended for more sophisticated users. Oh, and we had multiple billing issues until they got their act together and fixed how they were billing for numbers of users and reimbursed us for that error.

Cons

Does not keep track of all email transactions except for the initial one. Which was not very good because you had to look in your emails to find out what the customers said.

ZOHO CRM in general is a good CRM for SMB's. It's always one of the options in the CRM selection process. Any CRM is only as good as the business process behind it.

Pros

Pricing: ZOHO CRMs pricing is very affordable for SMB's. The pricing structure allows businesses to scale up without worrying about the monthly subscription.

Functionalities: Overall, ZOHO CRM's functionality is good. It has most of the essential business functionalities. Customizing the CRM according to the business process is very easy. It does provide basic reports and analytics that gives very good business insights.

Cons

Functionalities: Although ZOHO CRM provides good functionality, it still lacks some of it that will definitely be an added value to most of it's customers. An example would be a validation rule. A lot of the customers have already brought this topic over ZOHO forums, although ZOHO CRM reps respond with courtesy, this functionality is still in the RnD. A few other requested functionalities have been requested, but it may take ZOHO CRM years before implementing such.

Company is very aggressive from a development standpoint, so new features are introduced regularly (Enterprise version). While we view this, in the long-run, as a huge positive, it does sometimes have its down-side when new training is required for changed features. Customer service is consistently way above expectations. ZohoCares is not just a hashtag line, they really do care about their customers and their productivity!

Pros

Very pleasing user interface.
Product is intuitive.
Excellent mobile application.
Very good application for both marketing and sales reps.

Cons

While product is easily customizable, special functions are not as easy as portrayed. Additional tutorials would be helpful.

Cons

It's really difficult to navigate contacts. For some reason, you can't group contacts into multiple groups. You can only put one contact in one group. And you have to click on the contact to see the notes about the contact.

Zoho CRM is a good product. It's easy-to-use, powerful, customizable, and one of the better CRMs on the market for a small business. The analytics and reporting is pretty good, and it really simplifies managing pipeline.

Cons

Zoho CRM is priced so low because they have an 'ecosystem' strategy. Essentially, sell you the CRM, and as your business grows, you'll buy their other solutions as well (campaigns, chat, etc). The problem is, Zoho Campaigns is just plain terrible. Saying that Zoho does marketing automation is beyond a stretch. I understand this is a review of Zoho CRM, but for a business that needs lead generation (i.e. almost all of them), this is a big issue to consider. There are very few marketing automation platforms that integrate with Zoho.

Pros

It does everything you would expect of a CRM. All the features you will end up needing are locked in the enterprise version, but that is industry standard...

Cons

Their tech support is almost non existent! It is infuriating. Waiting over a week for their developers to fix an issue that they themselves caused. Unfortunately for me the customer, the error has a catastrophic effect on my entire business.. But no one at Zoho seems to want to talk to me about it...

Its a straight forward, easy to use CRM tool. It's Sales and Marketing functionalities are efficient, and the platform itself can be extended to cater other business requirements.

Cons

ZOHO Is VERY Customizable. The mobile app is beautiful. The organization is tidy, there is access to everything, and it is equally quick to navigate. It is easy to do all the basic features, and many advanced features. The mobile app won’t totally replace the dashboard but will allow a highly mobile salesperson to check in at the office less often. Finally, the app has enough flair to not be mind-numbing, but not so much as to be distracting. I found it to be a very solid extension of an office computer.

Cons

Not the best User Interface but the customer service is great. The mobile app has a solid set of features and the design is pretty intuitive. While the mobile app doesn’t give you access to the full spectrum of features you’d find on the website, it’s still very useful. There are a few other mobile – related issues that users feel Zoho should address, such as app crashes and adding additional email features.

Just what I needed for my small business.

Zoho was a good choice for me. I don't have time to spend hours training on a new software and to spend time on the phone with customer service folks. I wanted simple and easy and that's what Zoho is. That said, I can see Zoho has a lot more features than I need right now, so I feel comfortable I can grow into Zoho without having to go to another software.

Pros

When I called customer service they were very helpful. Great training videos, worth viewing before starting to use the product. I like the fact that someone at Zoho reached out to me a couple of times after I purchased the product. Great customer service and attention to customers! I was very impressed, it made me feel like a person, not just another sale.

Cons

Zoho is generally easy to use, with a few exceptions. To be fair to Zoho I had unreasonable expectations. I wanted to jump into Zoho without having to call customer service. The good news is I've only had to call them a couple of time and both times they were easy to get a hold of and quickly answered my questions.

At times, it could be a little overwhelming, but once I found and learned the core functions that I would need for my business, using Zoho became much more enjoyable.

Pros

The tools in Zoho CRM all function well and are simple and intuitive to pick up.

Cons

I would say that you should check out there Plus package, has everything you'll need for your Customer data and keeping up with your audience. Highly recommended for the Price!

Pros

A lot of features and very easy to setup and learn, there is some great guides to follow, their support is great as well.

Cons

I would have to say that you have to upgrade your package for a lot of features, so your kind of limited, but for the price it's worth to upgrade for all the features you need!

As a manufacturer I use Z crm to track our small but growing retail jobs (most of what we do is wholesale and managed entirely in QB). Integrates. We create sales orders on the customers page and store the coposing path to ttheir custom products. Is fine, not much to compare it with. Zoho has been slowly but steadily improving it. I am underusing it.

Pros

Good and complete setup and customization.

Cons

Lots of extensibility I can't understand. Needs connection with 3dCart Ecommerce.

It seems as though there's lots of flexibility with how to use Zoho. It came highly recommended by a friend, so I gave it a try. Importing data was easy enough. It was also easy to search my data.

Cons

I found it a bit laborious to set up. It seemed like it was taking a lot of work to get it set up and dialed in the way I needed it to be. I do realize that every CRM will require some tweaking and customizing to get it to fit right. Ultimately, I didn't want to commit the time it was needing to get it dialed in.

-Inability to create email campaigns outside of Zoho Campaigns - there are several cases where we need to prepare to send 10,000 emails to customers or contacts, though must be restricted to campaigns, which is very limiting, and imposing with disadvantages

I love how robust Zoho CRM is. It really has amazing functionality once you set it up to fit your business. It ties in to so many other Zoho products seamlessly and supports integrations with other platforms like Google and Salesforce. Zoho as an internal platform to manage your customer interactions is a great decision for any business and the cost makes sense.

Cons

Zoho setup is not the easiest. They do offer in-depth documentation on "how to" but if you hit a snag the trouble shooting isn't as in-depth. Some documentation can be outdated as technology changes so this can create integration or set up delays. Cost could increase if you had to hire an expert for set up assistance. Support will assist when needed, but this again can be time that not every business can spare.

We used Zoho CRM for a while and it was a pleasant experience. However, due to too much happening in the UI we had to do away with it. There was something that we did not like in it and were forced to move to Freshdesk.
However, for a free solution for a small team it is a great CRM to use.

Pros

- Easy to setup
- Team on-boarding flow is quite easy
- As compared to other CRMs, it has all the features a SME might need

Cons

- The user experience can be much better
- It has so many features which are just dormant and I don't think many people use them
- The UI of entire dashboard can be made more colorful as the current one seems dull

Zoho CRM allows you to create and manage a database of your leads, contacts, prospects, and customers. Like any great CRM, Zoho has a free version that allows you to keep basic record keeping. If you'd like to expand your features, you can purchase a Zoho subscription and have a vast amount of features. The ability to send automated emails, and directly import leads from social media, allows me more time to be out selling and generating business. Zoho is the perfect fit if you're running your own business or are part of small business sales team.

Cons

Having to purchase additional licenses per user so that you can have the feature filled version is always a downside, but definitely a necessity for Zoho to continue existing.

I really like this CRM. After trying several others that just kept on falling short, I stumbled upon Zoho, and it really just has the best features, and the fact that you can use only the one's you need, means you don't have to pay for features you don't use.

Pros

Very Comprehensive. Great Features and Support.

Cons

It has quite a bit of a learning curve, and set up time can take quite some time as well.

Advice to Others

The free package is not really worth it, but it doesn't cost a lot for the better packages.

Customers service not as good as you would wish, and customization offer is 0
ZOHO got financially greedy and charge now separately for every little piece of software.

ZOHO CRM is great CRM platform, get, use it, see it for your self.

Tracking sales progress and keeping track of customers vs. prospects

Pros

Ease of use and tracking with reporting features. Modules easily connect the opportunities to the client. Reporting easily tracks progress of won/lost opps. for sales staff individually.

Cons

Product catalog could be a bit better for connecting clients and products. Limitation on connecting the modules.
