Enterprise CCM for Banks and Credit Unions of Any Size
DataOceans provided a broad set of capabilities and worked effectively with the systems we had in place to build better processes and drive growth. They focused on our success and desired business outcomes rather than merely delivering technology. I would work with them again.
PROSDataOceans is a complete CCM solution that integrates rapidly with core systems for more personalized omni-channel communications. It seamlessly integrated with our online banking portal, improving the self-service experience and delivery preference management capabilities. Using the DataOceans platform we were able to lower print and mail costs, increase electronic adoption and improve the member experience. Oceanus enabled us to segment and message to individual members for additional cross-sell and increased product usage so that we were able to discontinue use of a marketing automation platform that had not been delivering results.
CONSNothing significant. Any issues raised during our implementation or during the course of the relationships were addressed quickly and thoroughly.

Long Time Friend
Their team and dedication to your group/organization is so profound. I have built some really great relationships with the different teams and project managers that are assigned to us. We have weekly meetings to see what we could do to improve, if we have an issue is fixed almost immediately and most of the time they know before we do and are already working on it. The communication we have is wonderful, and that is why my title is a Long Time Friend. The whole DataOceans team make it, so we have constant communication and the willingness to help. The things the software can do for us are never ending and we are so lucky to have them help us through this amazing journey we have going on. They brought us to current day, and we are working towards a goal of the future. I would not want to go on this long journey with any other software or team.
PROSI LOVE how easy it is for our customers and our advocates to use to make payments, see payment history, billing information, bills, emails and transactions that are performed.
CONSI would not consider it a CON by any means because it is not customer forward facing, the admin portal we use is great and provides us detail information. Navigating it at first is a little challenging however, after 2 or 3 times of navigating it and getting the training on it, it is a piece of cake.

Highly flexible and adaptable
Overall I have had a very positive experience with DataOceans. Our Business users had very specific needs, and the DataOceans team has been able to address those needs with relative ease. Their support staff is top notch and have learned to navigate our business processes to the point where they can easily adapt to new requests and ask the right questions to ensure we get our desired end result.
PROSFrom a support and administration point of view, I have found that DataOceans provides a depth of visibility and insight into daily operations that I have rarely encountered in other systems. We are able to trace every piece of information back to its source which greatly improves our ability to perform production support activities and internal audits.
CONSWhile the access to information is a huge plus, the ability to easily navigate and interpret the data needs some work. Some of the information is technical to the point where only IT can properly interpret it. I feel as though a more business user friendly UI for certain areas of the system would be a benefit while still keeping the more in-depth technical views available to IT / Support personnel

Solid Company - Great Team to Work With for Customer Communications
Overall the experience has been very good. The team is knowledgeable and helpful. Their team is always providing updated information and providing ideas to streamline the business and make it more efficient.
PROSGreat platform to send customer communications. Customers have a secure portal to access that is simple and easy to use. Able to send a large volume of communications quickly and easily. The Client Services team and dedicated Client Services Manager is an asset. They are quick to respond and helpful in developing solutions. Constant communication and follow-up is essential and DataOceans hits the mark in these areas. DataOceans continues to evolve and provide great services.
CONSThe interface for the Administrator Portal could have an updated look and feel. Operationally it works just fine, but interface is basic.

Admin portal & CSR portal
The overall experience with DataOceans has been awesome. The representatives are knowledgeable in the data we use and how to present it for user viewing. The response to questions and ticket requests is prompt and the attitude of the representatives we interact with is always pleasant and collaborative.
PROSThe admin portal is always available to access and easy to view payment activity at a daily total level and also at a policy individual historical level. We utilize this functionality daily to reconcile payment activity against our admin system as needed. The CSR portal has added value to our processes in that the manual payment requests are more user friendly and viewable at a combined level and then processed systematically in our admin system. This has reduced user error on payment collection and application.
CONSMore credit card functionality for the CSR portal to be able to handle card changes.

Review
I have found the overall experience to be good. This system is still very new to us and we have spent the past year getting it all setup while we were also migrating business to a new administrative platform. This was all a monumental task but I found that the Data Oceans team was very adaptive to meeting all of our needs. They did a great job.
PROSI find that the detail reporting features are most impactful to my team. We use the software in many different ways such as for daily reconciliations, policy level research and processing of payments.
CONSSince we are still in the new stages of using the various features, we still have some "tweaking" to do to make things more easy to use but eventually we will get there. The thing notice the most that could be better is that I find that there the filtering capabilities to go right to what you need could be improved. We spend a lot of time just looking for what we need.

Personalized Attention
While I know that DataOceans has other clients on the Oceanus platform, you sure would not know it based on their level of service. We have always been treated like their #1 client.
PROSWe are over a year into development and we have not heard the word 'No, that can't be done'. Answers have been more like: 'Yes, we can do that...and we can add this and that too'. We are able to customize the look at feel to meet our business needs.
CONSIf there were difficulties, I didn't know about them.

Oceanus
Product is easy to use and learn and customer service is great. There are a lot of options from a reporting perspective in terms of slicing and dicing data. Custom reports can be created.

Makes PCI Compliance easier
Support and Service Team are very helpful and flexible.
PROSSimplifies PCI and HIPAA Compliance and eCommerce. The team is responsive to changes works with our application security and compliance requests in order to keep us compliant.
