Ugly but powerful
I've used and managed the platform in an agency doing affiliate marketing and running 4 databases of a few million contacts each one. It's always been very easy to manage the databases and the email communications.
Pros
It is one of the best ESP platform I've ever used: it has a lot of features and functions (some of them are "advanced" and can't be found in most of the other platforms, and really let managing databases and email communications in a complete way and with a high degree of precision). The platform can easily manage several databases of medium/large size (several million contacts per database) and it gives the highest control possible on every function. The support team is great and they always reply efficiently and in a timely way. Also managing users who have access to the platform is easy and with a high degree of control on permissions and scopes.
Cons
The User Interface is really ugly. But this is in part due to the choice to give you the greatest control on everything: other platforms have more intuitive interfaces where some of the "magic" is hidden to users, but this also means less control.
Reasons for choosing magnews
It offers the higher number of advanced features that can help you cope with any kind of situation (and save you a lot of time!) at a very reasonable cost

User firendly
Pros
it never game me a problems. I find it easy to use and has multiple sending options

About the database management, the multitude of functions confuses me often and it is not clear how to edit images on the system

Affordable and easy to use
Pros
- Customer service is great, they will answer to all your requests in a very short time. - Custom newsletter templates - affordable pricing - easy both for users and admins
