Pros/Cons

  • Pros

  • It is easy to use. It is also fast in clustering and filtering data. I like the word cloud function which gives primary insights about your data.

  • The software is easy to use and navigate. Access to Twitter and Facebook is useful, but I found the ability to capture RSS feeds to be especially unique to the research I do.

  • Cons

  • The visualization of the coding results is a bit dull in terms of design but one can always export results in another programme that creates more impressive visualizations

  • DiscoverTest has a relatively steep learning curve, and therefore can be intimidating to new users. It is well worth your time though, as the features far outweigh the learning curve.

  • Pros

  • This is a very well organized software. It's incredibly easy to navigate through, and the results are visually appealing.

  • I love this software because of the ease of use, the pleasing aesthetic, and the multiple capabilities it has to collect data in so many ways!

  • Cons

  • I think the price point is a little high for the value we get out of it. The software itself is easy to use to no real complaints other than the price.

  • There are glitches that sometimes bug me (getting logged out spontaneously is the worst) but nothing major.
