Loyverse POS
As a POS Specialist, I find Loyverse very basic, simple, and easy to use Point of Sale. This is free POS works well on Android devices and as well as on iPad. You can add any generic brand printer although it has the support for Epson and Star printers I was able to add Chinese-made generic printers the Bluetooth printers also worked well best recommended to use any Ethernet printer. As for the POS, it is very simple and best suitable for the truck/carts or takeaways. It has everything that most paid POS offers, it has sales reporting through the cloud and as well on the Tablet/iPad. The sales are available category-wise, item-wise, order-wise, or payment method-wise, end of the day. The addition of items to the menu is very easy, items can have customized photos or coloring as per your choice. Item voids, order voids options are also available.
CONSThe free version comes with only one user for an additional user passcode you need to pay for it. Few options from sales are missing like Revenue center option where you can view takeaways and dine-in sales.

Just down load the product, I find the product interested, however, I am not sure if I am doing the right thing because I actually need a product that con integrate with my sage software. Can some tell let me know if this product integrate?
PROSI like the fact that the product is free, it gives me a chance try it to see if I will actually like it, and I am not into a long contract.

Small business brick and mortar should use Loyverse as their point of sale!
Best of all is the ease of set up and use. I can train an employee to cash a customer out in very little time. The fact that I can have 2 systems with the program on it allow me to work from home while the store is open and using the other system.
CONSI would like to be able to move inventory around and in subcategories - which I know is available with the upgraded version of the software in the inventory management program. I would also like it to integrate with my website to keep better track of inventory.

Great software & easy to use.
Great interface layout. Easy to use (and introduce) for new team members. We like the option to create multiple tabs with products that are on sale or only available for an event.Also the payment options work great and increased our sale (although we have a small amount of sales on Sunday morning in church).We use the free version because we only use it on sunday morning after the service. Therefor we don't use the option for stock, employees etcetera. If we had a bigger business we would recommend to use these options.
CONSI would like to have an option to include a deposit (price of a glass bottle or tin can) as standard, Also to possibility to refund this empty bottle or tin can.We live in the Netherlands an we use deposits on glass and plastic bottles. Within a few months we also have to use a deposit on tin (soda) cans'.

Great features for very little price
I love the fact that the software is easy to use, fully packed with most features we require for our restaurant. From CRM, Loyalty, Inventory Management, KDS, Customer facing interface. They also offer some great integrations with third party software like Xero, WooCommerce etc. Would always recommend them.
CONSMostly focused on the internal operations and not much on the customer side of things like the Kiosk or self ordering system. That would be a really good addition to it.

Full featured POS for any cafe or restaurant
I wish I had found Loyverse when I first open the coffee shop because it would saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars over the POS that we used before.
PROSThe best feature for my coffee shop is that we can use this software at no cost. We can use the software on either android or iOS devices and it connects easily to wired or Bluetooth printers.
CONSseveral of the buttons cannot have their descriptions changed which is confusing for some of the workers.

our previous software locked us into a long-term contract and caused us to use only their merchant services. We were charged approximately 6% each month for the use of their merchant services. The POS screens were not easily changed and the categories were awful.

Great POS service
I like all the features that they provide here. Very easy to use and understand. Won't take much time to teach someone to use the app. Other apps that i used can only provide me with very basic function and only provide me with a month of usage. I really appreciate the free service the app provided me and other users
CONSThere's only 1 problem so far, which is i can't select multiple items from 1 category. For example, when i want to select 1 Chocolate waffle and 1 Peanut Waffle, i can only select 1 and save it and then come back to select the other one. Maybe there's a way to do this but i still can't figure it out till now. I have watched all the tutorials from YouTube but still no solution.

It's a great app with powerful and attractive features.
PROSInventory management. running receipts, and adding stocks and any other sales related activity is simple and easy.
CONSCurrency conversion could be useful. This will allow us to report in different currencies since we have our presence in different countries.

Loyverse, best free POS ever!
Overall the app is the best free POS system available cause we could manage our sales effectively. We also recommended it to different friends and there are also using it right now.
PROSWhat we like the most about Loyverse is the ease of setup and actual use. A great help for us is the kitchen display where there is a separate tablet in our kitchen that automatically shows the orders upon entering it in our counter. And also the sales report which we could easily see the sales after the day
CONSI think a feature that might be useful to us is probably if we could deduct the amount when there are incoming stocks/purchases/expenses , so we could be able to see the actual net income (sales minus expenses). Probably if there's an option as well if we could input example the amount of starting money to different payment types, and then if there's a sales it will just add there, and if there are expenses, we could just also deduct there. So at the end of the day, we could check if the total amount are correct. For example, we input 1,000 in our cash, then theres a total sales of 10,000 and there are expenses of 2000. So that would be 1,000 + 10,000 - 2,000 = 9,000 in our cash at the end of the day.

Do no hesitate: use Loyverse
Using it on your phone makes it for us very easy to use. Our shop is very big and we walk around with our customers to collect the goods they need. Along the way we can provide price information and registrate the items we pick.
PROSIt is very easy to implement and use, also with multiple POS-units. Great you can see which transaction was on what POS. The dashboard app makes it easy to follow the performance of our business. With the export capabilities I can quite easily transfer data to our bookkeeping software.
CONSIn the export of the receipts I would like more detail in the VAT. Now it is 1 amount but I need it devided into 21, 9 and 0%. As administrator I would like more capabilities to correct misstakes in transactions. Sometimes the wrong payment type is chosen and I cannot correct that in Loyverse.

Real great experience POS
We as a business needs to improve our usage with some of the features loyverse offer, so the software is really great and super user friendly
PROSIn my case loyverse becomes a really useful software to run the coffeeshop, as easy as our employees barely no need training to work with, in a matter of minutes they are doing orders and processing payments.

Great graphic style POS with limitations
I highly recommend using this on IPads. Only Apple OS has the ability to lock their tablet to just one app (guided access). Android based tablets do not have this feature.
PROSEasy to setup items to sell. The app can be used on either the Apple iPad or on Android base tablets. However stick with the Apple iPad because of the guide access feature is found only on Apple's OS. It easy to train rotating cashiers on this system. I do like the ability to split checks.
CONSNot a true inventory if you are looking to see past and on-going stock. The system allows you to sell with negative inventory. As with graphic based display too much items can be overwhelming. Best for business with no more than 2 dozen items otherwise you will be spending too long of a time scrolling through pages to find the item. It's is nice that it has categories but that also take some time as well. When items are out of stock, system should give the owner the option to hid the item until it is restocked. There is no warning given and shown when stock is low or completely out to the cashier.. Only an email is sent indicating a low stock. There is no capabilities of sorting the displayed item or separating into groups visually. It's all done alphabetically. I am completely confused on the sales history in the back office. Sales by payment and sales summery don't match. The data sync is slow. It may take a few hours after the close of the day before all the sales are synced and shown in the back office. When using discounts and promotions the totals don't necessarily add up correctly. I am still trying to figure out why that is.

Overall, I am very happy with Loyverse POS performance.
PROSI liked the layout and its intuitive logical flow. I found it easy to change its setting to adapt it to my business requirements. Using it over two years, I find it reliable and consistent.
CONS1- When I export some reports to Excel, the French words with special characters are not showing up correctly.2- When the program first starts up, the connection to the server at time is a bit too long.

Loyverse- the Winner against ALL competitors I evaluated
A1 Analytics has a wide variety of data science clients, and this POS project was a bit unusual for us, but we also have expertise in a wide variety of SFA/CRM systems. As it turns out Loyverse and other POS systems are remarkably similar to SFA/CRM hosted systems, so POS projects are very easy for us. Loyverse has outstnading live customer support, a community board, and videos, so we actually enjoyed implementing this for a restaurant chain. They are delighted with the results, and it may open the door to other POS implementations for Loyverse. Based on our experience, we do not recommend that any restaurant with over 10 products or 10 tables attempt this on their own because in order to set up taxes, tips, tables, employees, roles, costs, cash prices, credit card prices, and multiple employees and devices, it's better left to a talented POS consultant. We expect that there will be A LOT of consolidation in the POS market and we view Loyverse as a category killer. The overall value and ROI is so high, we do not believe that the industry leaders in this space can sustain their competitive advantage much longer. Loyverse needs to do a better job of marketing themselves and partnering with world class system integrators.
PROSAt A1 Analytics, we created a matrix with about 100 factors, and 17 essential factors for MiG, ePOSnow, TouchBistro, Toast POS, Opensource POS, ComCash POS, Floreant POS, Unicenta, Lavu, Revel System, Squre, and AccuPOS and Loyverse. Loyverse was the best in our view based on price, features, support, customer reviews, simplicity, flexibility, and data import/export.It does not require special equipment and can be deployed on tablets and smartphones. It's well-suited to businesses with one or more stores or restaurants. It works beautifully and if you upload photos to the menus, it's very professional looking and attractive. I can set up taxes, discounts, refunds, tables, employees, user rights, marketing lists, sizes, colors, or food variations. The system comes with a variety of useful built-in reports and you can export all the transactions for advanced data mining. The pricing is FANTASTIC. The live customer support is even BETTER!
CONSOne client is in Colombia in South America. Some of the special characters in the Spanish language do not display properly. We're seeing if this is a browser font issue or a system issue we can resolve.
