UserIQ has a lot of features and is very friendly for non-tech users.
This is a great tool if you don't know where to start with segmenting your audience, or if you have a particular feature you want to target for usage. The insights are pretty much auto-generated to show you what correlations are happening without you needing to sort through data or create reports manually. Its interface is all clickable and non-tech-user friendly, so anyone can set it up and get data from it. The features for inserting notifications or user tutorials are also great (and, again, take zero coding). The team at UserIQ is great as well!
CONSSetting things up for a tech-savy user can feel cumbersome. I would rather just tell you what javascript events to listen for or DOM element selectors to pay attention to versus clicking through eight steps of a user walkthrough. The pricetag is also pretty high relative to insights we got from the tool. The data was interesting and compelling but certainly not enough to see get even a portion of the money spent on a license back.

Great analytics
Overall, it's been good but there is a still a lot to learn for me.
PROSComing into my role I was desparetly looking for data to be more effective which is exactly what UserIQ delivered on. I love the dashboards and how easy to read they are.
CONSI would be helpful if UserIQ had some sort of training capability built in. For example, a button you could click on to understand what each metric is.

Well thought out tool that delivers what it promises.
We selected UserIQ because they combine things that we were looking at separately - specifically NPS and Guided Tours - into a single tool. After about 3 months of use, we've been very pleased with our ability to understand more about how our users act in our platform, and target specific notifications and campaigns to differentiated groups of users. UserIQ has also been INCREDIBLY responsive to user requests. More than once they're turned enhancements around in a matter of days.
