Flatly working with Freshdesk files
U used to spend a lot of time exporting and importing CSV files from our helpdesk system in order to produce accurate timesheets for our clients. With Flatly the amount of time I need to do this has greatly reduced.
PROSFlatly just works efficiently and effectively in the background every day and saves me a lot of time from manually exporting and importing CSV files
CONSPre-emptive alerting to problems would be useful.
Reason for choosing Flatly
Simple to use and the integrations for our needs were built-in

ETL tool for systems that don't support data export
Fantastic. Originally we had an issue with Gusto integration, but the developers/support went above and beyond to get us going. I would highly recommend Flatly over other ETL competitors for basic tasks. They are priced competitively, and actually care about their customers.
PROSFlatly makes it easy to extract data from SaaS apps they integrate with on a regular schedule. The integrations are plentiful and include SaaS apps that normally don't allow for any export at all, yet alone on a schedule. (our use case was Gusto - no external APIs, no scheduled exports, but with Flatly its all possible).
CONSNo major cons. Would be nice to have "shared sources" where you can delegate authorization of a source to one person and that use that authorization with another account. Currently, as an admin, I have to sign in to the app, then have the authorizer of the source app sign in on my computer.
Reasons for switching to Flatly
Better pricing for our use case.

Great Product for Niche Purposes
Great Way to keep track of my personal financial budget
CONSTrying to export data files can be a tedious process. Not being able to go past 120 days of transaction history is not ideal

Easy and effective
I have been able schedule a regular job to take an extract from Insightly CRM directly into Google sheets so that the data there can be manipulated using Google Apps Script. The reporting built into Insightly didn’t do what I needed easily and I didn’t want to get into calling Insightly APIs from my code. Flatly’s service coincided so closely with what I wanted to do that I almost couldn’t believe it existed!
PROSVery quick and simple to get an extract running direct into a Google sheet
CONSOver a 2 year period the columns in my extract have changed without warning a few times. I mostly put this down to changes in my data source (Insightly), however in retrospect some sort of built in warning within Flatly would be useful. Either that or I build checking into my software, which I don’t really want to do.
