Fantastic! Zero problems thus far

I'm not even using the full features of ScrapingBee, but with their API Builder, Code Exporter, and Dashboarding, it was easy to get started.I see the features of ScrapingBee being huge for me in the near future, but I know that as I scale, they're pricing is competitive and their service is reliable. I haven't had this success rate, and this isn't my first webscraping vendor. I'm never going anywhere else.

I would love a bit more documentation in the errors. I know that with scraping, it can be obscure, but I lost a bit of time on fine tuning the parameters of my request before it worked, but that it panned out faster than any other service I've worked with because of their built in Request Builder

Overall I am quite happy with ScrapingBee

We've used ScrapingBee for almost two months now and the speed and success rate of their proxies have been great, we scrape a variety of Ecommerce stores, including ASOS, Nike and Zalando that do heavy bot throttling and prevention, and with the premium proxies we se great success rate, and the standard proxies are decent and fast for the sitres that don't require very stealthy proxies. I really like that you can use this service with "proxy mode", instead of having to integrate the hTTP api, this made it really easy to "drop in" to our existing application with minimal configuration. The support is quite responsive and they fixed a simple Dashboard UI fix a few minutes after being made aware of it.

The concurrency limit is 10 for the lowest paid plan, and 40 for the "business" plan, this might be a bit low for our use case, and limits throughput a bit, but I hear from the grapevines that there will be higher or more customisable plans in the future, however, if you need very high concurrency, this might not fit the bill for you.

It works exactly as advertised. Pricing is reasonable compared to competitors and customer support reacts to questions quickly.

I'm very happy with our decision to work with ScrapingBee and would still recommend this as a competitive option that can scale in a pretty nice way.

The API is easy to use and documented in detail. It also proved to be very similar to other tools in the market which I consider an advantage as it reduces vendor lock-in. It comes with a shallow learning curve and all the tools you need to monitor your progress, especially if you are familiar with how APIs work. It also offers a lot of useful & flexible options that allow you to customize how you used the tool and the burn rate of your credits. Also responses proved to be very quick from websites. The pricing is absolutely competitive after comparing it with other similar options. Before using ScrapingBee I didn't think it would be possible to scale our web crawling operations in such an easy way.

The only disadvantage I could find is that a few websites still manage to block crawling attempts or recognize ScrapingBee's default US servers as Canadian IP addresses which can complicate our web crawling attempts. I have also found that you need some trial and error to decode the error codes returned by the tool and understand the root cause of any issues we come across.

It just works: and its parsing meta-language is wonderfully powerful. Most importantly, the support I've received has been superlative: in my first attempt to implement a parser (using the meta-language) I failed, and a support engineer wrote the whole parser for me. Then I realised the scraping API was missing a really useful parameter: the support engineer updated the API to add the missing parameter (and generically so it supports all available parameters) within about 48 hours. It almost feels like Scraping Bee's support engineers are on my own team!

Nothing missing for me. I can't think of any downsides.

The web interface is great you can try out various queries right in the browser and get full cost control. Also sending XHR requests and basically a complete browser dump in the scraping response is unmatched in the industry

The pricing is a bit too high. I understand that it is expensive to run such a large network, but geo location + javascript makes a request 5 times more expensive which can get really price fast. Also I find it misleading that the prices are listed without VAT, it wasn't obvious to me.

Support is amazing so far. 24 hour response times. The API has also been quote reliable.

Pricing is definitely on the high side, with a $50/mo minimum. There's not much room to scale workflows slowly between the limited free trial and the first pricing tier. I would have liked a lower tier with fewer calls to be able to scale with for the first couple months...

Overall, ScrapingBee is an outstanding web scraping solution, with its user-friendly approach and reliability making it a must-have for any professional or business looking to gather data from the web.

What I liked most about ScrapingBee was its ease of use. Setting up my web scraping projects has never been this straightforward. What I liked least about ScrapingBee is that it comes with a cost. While I understand the need to pay for such a high-quality service, it can be a financial consideration for small projects or individual users. However, the quality of the service more than compensates for this drawback, and I believe it's well worth the investment for professional or business projects.

It was very simple to understand the documentation, the API and therefore to implement ScrapingBee in our services. The service works very realible and the dashboard gives us clear information about potential sources for error and any problems that may occur.

The pricing structure could be a bit more granular in my opinion. There are huge price gaps within the different packages.

As professionals in the data acquisition / web scraping field, there's always the question of how do we retrieve specific data hidden behind bot protection or captcha. We could always dedicate resources and build our own systems for everything... or we could simply call the scrapingBee API and focus on the data. It's makes our work so much easier.

If I could give 6 stars for customer support, I would. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] are always just minutes away, promptly resolving any questions or problems encountered. The API documentation is extensive and well-made, making deployment easy. Beautiful request success rate > 95%.

I have been using ScrapingBee for E-Commerce web scraping and have been thoroughly impressed by the quality of the product (especially given it comes from a small team).

The best feature of ScrapingBee is the exhaustive documentation combined with countless tutorials on their blog. This makes using the software incredibly straightforward even for beginners at web scraping.

I have yet to run into a true con of the software - most competitors lack in documentation so much that ScrapingBee is a breath of fresh air.

ScrappingBee has many features that will fulfill any web scraping project. Not only allows for classical tasks like getting specific fields of the page, but also allows for more complex ones such as the screenshot and bypassing blockages of websites like facebook and google. It's been great and I feel like I'm using 10% of its full potential. Also, the customer support is absolutely fantastic. Any time that I have a question about it, I get a reply in almost immediately. They have also changes features on request!

In some cases, it's not possible to set the country code of a request but only in cases where you need to specifically set them on the website. But I haven't explored the geo location of a request which might help in those scenarios.

I got this project from a client to build a real estate database from multiple portals.I've setup my web application structure and defined crawlers for the different portals and I had ScrapingBee in mind to try it out so this way I would focus on the product and avoid spending time on scraping infrastructure.I've found the tool very easy to set up, with great examples and documentation, and also found the pricing affordable.We'll see how everything scales but for now I'm very happy with the tool!

ScrapingBee offers an easy to use, well documented API that provides proxy services and more. I use it extensively for web scrapping. Its premium proxy enabled me to hit websites with high levels of protection such as social media sites

Documentation is quite good, and scraping is as easy as they make it sound. Works very very well for 99% of our needs. The extra 1% is notoriously difficult for web scraping anyways.

Some sites are tough to scrape, like social media sites. It seems the IPs ScrapingBee uses are already blacklisted sometimes on some sites. This isn't their fault at all, in fact, it's a common issue. So nothing to blame them for.

Super easy api. Great for creating your own scraping library

Maybe storage, maybe it could save money. Easy to use storing pages in the cloud and you only need to scrape it once

I'm a PhD candidate with absolutely no web scraping experience and needed to scrape some data for a dissertation project. Scraping Bee helped me get the job done quickly and easily. Excellent customer support too. Couldn't be happier!
