No incentive was offered After years of using third-party tools for tracking keywords and chasing Featured Snippets, I switched to just using Google Search Console because it’s the origin source for accurate (albeit incomplete) data about what’s happening with my keywords and pages. Also, alongside the JSON returned from the API you get a screenshot of the actual SERP, not some cobbled-together version of what was there. It’s much easier to grok. #### Cons My only complaint is that the Google Sheets plug-in doesn’t work the way I’d expect it to. I struggled with it and gave up, just relying on the web-based tool for now.
