Overall, we are very happy with what Select Star offers and continues to offer given its pricing, we consider it a value for maonewy option and since we works closely with the team, we are happy to see our feature requests, being planned.

The product is very easy to use, and usually self-inituitive. I very much like the lineage depicted on the creation of tables and the connection with Tableau datasources, because any employee (from engineer to C-level exec) can easily trace the path of the information from dashboards to tables and vice versa. I also like very much the discussion feature on the items appearing Select Star.

Nothing specific at the moment, especially since the prodct it self is evolving daily, it would be unfair to mention something on a review while it could evolve/be solved a week after. :)

We need to have one place for our data-related documentation, and tool, which can help users to find information about data sources a Tableau reports related to them. Select Star helps us to fill this gap. And also due to its automated metadata processing, it saves a lot of time and enables maintain fresh and up-to-date information about data.

Clear and simple UI. Minimal effort is needed to set up. Quick response for user feedback and continuous improvements. API access.
