The only tool there is to perform xsl to xml transformation compatible with T24

Overall experience is good. It has helped us to develop delivery notifications inhouse and now we do not go to vendor each time we get any requirement from regulator to send notifications via sms and email to customer.

PROS

T24 has a very important module called delivery module. In order to setup delivery module to send notifications to customers via sms and email, You need to know delivery module of T24. There is one step in which you prepare sms and email package, ALTOVA makes it easier to upload xsl files of related sms and email body in T24 to send formatted email and sms to customers.

CONS

There should also be an option in which you can provide request (T24) to ALTOVA and you can give your xsl file and check what response xml will look like. This will save a lot of time as we have to reset the T24 application layer each time we make any changes to transformation file.

Nevermore without

Since I met Mapforce my way of working with XML has changed dramatically. Being able to compile in java the result of the graphic mapping is really incredible.

PROS

The simplicity of use makes this software indispensable for those working with XML. An ETL software so easy to use that you need to try it to understand its power.

CONS

Finding a flaw in this software is really very difficult.

Latest MapForce Versions offer new valuable features

Overall MapForce is a great tool to convert data from one format to another, with support for many common file formats. In the three years we have used the software we set up multiple transformations using MapForce and automated them with the use of Altova's FlowForce Server. Once the initial debugging of the product is done, the processes run nicely without interruption.

PROS

Over the last year Altova made some improvements to their popular MapForce software. Rather than typing cross-reference information into a form, you can now upload cross-reference data for example from an Excel spreadsheet directly into the form. Another new feature in version 2020r2 is the capability for Excel output to update existing documents.

CONS

This small minus is actually also a plus. You will update your software frequently, usually two to three times a year. While that can be a hustle it on the other hand means you are getting new features like the ones mentioned above. So that makes up for it.
