Pros
- In a nutshell appmanager is a great product and helps our company to take care of our infrastructure.
- The customer support is excellent, and the documentation is comprehensive, making it easy to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices for optimal performance.
- Its a very good monitoring tool. The overall ease of use ,configuration and excellent customer support makes it one of the best monitoring tools available.
Cons
- Limited agents for APM marks a limitation on the usage of this tool.
- This maybe because my company has not set up that feature. I find it difficult to find closed or past requests.
- Some users have reported difficulty troubleshooting issues within the tool.
Pros
- Covers lots of different scenarios, good visualizations, good performance, good features are getting added as we go.
- It is certainly good value for money and very accurate. I love being able to see at glance what is happening on my network and still have the ability to drill down in to the most smallest of detail.
- This is the Recommended software that I often use to monitor or improve the Information Technology infrastructure. Very easy to install, user friendly and supports mobile devices.
Cons
- Don't expect them to go out of the way for you. PRTG has wasted 2+ hrs fighting with me on fixing something their software caused, something they could likely fix in a 5min phone call.
- So far the only inconvenience I have had is to create access for different users, by now we all use a web link but without autentication.
- Know when there's a problem before the end users start calling.
