All features, whether it be related to communication or accounting, or integration with other apps like WhatsApp, Facebook etc are very helpful and novel even as of today.

Limited Fields and customisation for entry of details in some cases.

Sometimes software lags, but this issue is  usually it is limited to 1-2 times per month.

Recently they have launched the WhatsApp feature. This has been an excellent addition.

Very comfortable and user friendly software. Recommended to all dental professionals.

Only problem I encountered in BestoSys. Other all problems they have either solved or are under consideration.

Audio consent recording feature is great. Excellent customer service.

We are getting good traction & patient engagement with this. The other useful tool that we have is the membership option.

Easy to use and in 1 displayed page only we can check appointment, billing and clinical data.

It should have templates to choose for billing patterns and prescription formates. It sometimes looses connectivity.

Whatsapp feature has made life very easy. We as staff are happy that we can send images links and documents through the bulk WhatsApp feature.

Patients are happy as they receive WhatsApp msgs and never miss them as WhatsApp is the most used messenger app. Bulk whatsapp messages is really helpful to reach 5000 patients at a time.

Recently added watsapp messaging , personal as well as bulk , gives ease of communication and helps to market paractice better.

I would definitely recommend this software. I know that is integrated quite easily with our existing digital xray system though I was not involved in getting that set up.

This software is not easy to use or user-friendly, it's  a little frustrating if you have to switch screens and remember info from other areas, X-rays are not transferable.

I can't think of any problems other than our particular doctor did not provide training. I am not sure if Open Dental providers training.

Open Dental has so many great features. There customer service department is top notch and if you need anything they make sure there is a report or they fix any problems.

I've used Dentrix and Eaglesoft before using Open Dental, and have to say that Open Dental is by far the best. Everything is straightforward, it's simple to learn, and very customizable.

You can run a Query (custom report) for just about any possible scenario, and save it as a favorite for future use.

They spent hours remotely working on my machine and escalated it to their top techies. And it was really a problem with Windows  not  Open Dental that caused the problem.

Determine estimated costs for patient using the Treatment Plan Module. Send preauthorizations to determine accurate estimates. Prioritize treatment and offer multiple treatment options.
