Glitchy - sometimes the image is lost between the server and the workstation.

Cs Softdent has been a great, friendly experience in more ways than one. I got the opportunity to join the Carestream family in  Texas at the Natural summit in 2019.

Softdent is very easy to use and it is quite straightforward. I find it easy to navigate, schedule appointments, dental chart, take X-rays, and send referrals to other offices.

Sometimes I feel as though it can be difficult to treatment plan a patient's dental work.

I only started using Softdent due to taking over a practice that had it in place. I immediately worked towards switching to another software after realizing only days later how bad it was.

Softdent is a newer software to me but it has been quite easy to learn and use.

Horrible customer service, Completely dishonest (still states that there program integrates with Dexis) while it does not. Use any other dental software program except SoftDent.

I then demanded my money back for all the Carestream products, the intraoral sensors, intraoral camera, pano, extraoral camera, and software.

For example, the intraoral cameras, digital xray sensors, and CT scanner made by Carestream integrate so well with SoftDent and I use them daily on nearly every patient.

The perk I truly enjoy the most is being able to have quick buttons to access information very quickly.

If settings arent chosen prior to importing into certain EDRs color can be lost. Sometimes easy to lose all photos with one wrong click.

On top of all of the capabilities of this software and the awesome interface, Carestream also has additional devices that are a must have for the software that can make your practice so much better.

Slow, outdated, tech support is costly for almost nothing.

Sometimes it throws error codes that prevent you from saving a patient chart.

I like that you have quick keys on the keyboard, as well as the financial reports that you can generate for the practice.

The person logging in may take a very long time to solve the problem, sometimes reverting back to installation questions you might be able to answer from years before.

The lack of included features makes CS SoftDent inferior to other dental software that I have experience with.

Softdent has horrible error checking,  uses a weird proprietary database back end that does not work at all.

Good hardware and software - IF THEY DON'T change their model.

Navigation is tricky and there is just so much to remember. Unable to integrate with our Web host.

This software is very user friendly, it's easy to learn and move around from scheduling to pulling the patient's chart, treatment planning, and verifying insurance.

Kodak product origionally-- high priced-- they sold it to care stream at a premium.

Practice Growth and Revenue Generation; the dental's solutions can enhance the patient experience, which can lead to increased patient retention and referrals.

Cloud is so slow and when it  fails no one helps. Customer support is very poor.

The ease of use and the fact that their technical support team is hands down, one of the best, if not the best help I've had. Very patient with me or any other team member that has to call them.

I appreciate how easy SoftDent is to use. Yes there is a learning curve when you first being utilizing it but overall it is simple.

The constant updates and suggestions from users across the country is a great way to make it perfect for us users.

Costly for annual maintenance. The hold time for customer service is sometimes lengthy.

I like the format of the schedule, the treatment planning is very straight forward, and it is easy to write notes/navigate a patient's chart.

I like dentrix because once you get to navigate it then it really is a great software that helps the practice in multiple ways.

We need more pre-block options for the appointment book / scheduling to template. We have to create an event and that is annoying.

Really like working with dentrix, the hot buttons are the best part due to how quickly I can set tx plans up for the front office.

It is very user friendly. It will help with all aspects of the office.

I like how Dentrix integrates all clinical aspects of the practice under one program.

People make mistakes and once the month is closed you cannot fix patient balances without having to make a bunch of adjustments that are confusing to patients.

I really do like this program. The support has been fantastic and the developers LISTEN.

Easy to use, integrates well,  good support team, and so many options for products.

The multiple modules and functions allow for a full look at the patients information. They are always updating and improving the function of the modules.

I view several different dental lab forms in this is by far the best. Everything can be customised To your liking.

I like how user friendly it is. I like that there are different options for both clicking on links and using shortcut buttons.

How easy is it to get help when needed being able to speak or talk with a rep is easy and can be accessed with ease.

This software is very compatible with most computer programs, has great tools to work with and is backup by great costumer service.

There are some glitches at times and this can make for a bad day.

The only thing I can say is after updates sometimes it can be hard to adjust. Running into some features not working correctly.

What I liked most about Dentrix is that so many of the features are so user friendly for the entire dental staff.

Dentrix costumer service is rally good and they are good with helping you answer the concerns or questions you have.

User friendly, Easy to navigate from one module to another - plus more than one person can be in a patient's file at a time.

I love how powerful it is, the more information you put into it, the more you are able to get out of it.

If I have to choose to work in a dental practice, I turn down jobs that run off of Dentrix. It’s frustrating to use & makes me job more difficult as well as stressful.

Ease of use, abilities to run and utilize reports, ease of gathering information.

Really liked how this app has an open source api.
