  • Pros

  • We love the texting with ClearDent as well as the customization we can do when it comes to scheduling. The ease of scanning documents and uploading x-rays is wonderful.
  • I like that everything is integrated - digital charting, radiographs, ledger and is easy to work with.
  • Cons

  • Some choices are missing for example I cannot enter a supernumery tooth or where tooth has had a trauma or fracture.
  • Digital imaging is not completely compatible with ScanX. And not sure how to transfer radiographs between patients when radiographs were scanned into the wrong patient.

  • I also love the dashboard, it shows what claims need to be worked on and helps keep the team on track.
  • I like the ease of use...meaning it's easy to navigate. Simplified version of their more complex server-based Software.
  • Cons

  • Over billing and taking forever to get refunded, horrible customer service-they treat you badly and are only available short hours for monetary issues. They purposely hang up on you and avoid calls.
  • Dentrix ascend is missing some of the key components of traditional dentrix.
