Pros/Cons
Pros
- I love OptiSigns and the customer service and support has been outstanding too. So glad I found this tool.
- I loved the ease of implementation for each of our locations. I love that I can schedule content for specific periods and it will automatically be removed from our playlists.
- I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of service and the functionality of their system. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and straightforward solution for their business needs.
Cons
- My only issue is that sometimes the app seems to take over my Fire Stick. If watching another program, once in a while it will interrupt it and return to the OptiSign app.
- I was using a different service previously and we often lost connection to our TVs.
- Trying to get it set up on our tv's. Only because of the fire walls/restrictions that our IT department has in place.
Pros
- The creator and I worked together for the implementation, and it is great I can still reach out to him if I have questions. Although Play Digital Signage has a great team to work with.
- What I like the most is the ease and speed with which you have your content on the screen. The editor is a great help to create new content if you do not have previous knowledge.
- I've been very pleased with the software so far. It has made MY client very happy with the ease of use and flexibility available to make quick changes.
Cons
- I only had a problem with one screen that didn't update contents but I reinstalled it and the problem was solved (I guess there was a wifi connection issue, nothing to do with the software).
- We have had a bulletin board for years that nobody looks at but people are drawn to the digital signage. We are able to communicate key messages in our church hall and people pay attention.
- Some devices do not allow opening a web console but this is a limitation of the device rather than the signage software.
