AFS 2010 version ERP

PROS

Very specialized in the food distribution industry

CONS

Two separate DBs for the ERP and the WMS applications. The integration is spotty. The technology is not mainstream and it is difficult to customize unless you go through AFS.

Needs modernization

The software is enough to run the day-to-day operations. However, it falls short on BI, integration with its own offerings such as WMS.

PROS

The software is very niche for food distribution. Has a very complete set of functionality

CONS

Proprietary technology that can only be supported by the software vendor. Old technology is still running on-prem and requires windows servers. Taking too long to modernize and offer the look and feel of a modern app

Reason for choosing Ignition ERP

It was already at the company when I started
