High recommendation of Omprompt

Vastly happy with everything that Omprompt have done for us, the transition in to using EDI was swift and without any downtime to our business. The rate of which we could begin including new customers was exponential and we are now at almost 99% coverage of the inbound orders. There were customers of ours that were not prepared for EDI so when Omprompt introduced the teach and learn functions that took us nearly to complete coverage

Pros

Omprompt have made this software an integral part of our ordering system which without it, we would still be a paper based 20th century company. Having the EDI solution has free'd up so much time for the customer services team that they now cope so much better during the peaks of high volumes that we are now able to process some of the highest volumes that the company has ever seen.

Cons

At present I cannot see any cons, there has been times when issues have arisen, stuck messages etc but that is normal and to be expected, but when they do arise Omprompt's customer service and error correction is second to none.

Reasons for Choosing OmPrompt

I was not involved with the selection process for distinguishing between which suppliers to choose, but very glad that the senior management an IT groups chose them.

Finally! A sfotware solution that understands how our business works!

The OmPrompt team has been first class. They have been very responsive and knowledgeable. They clearly already understood the space and industry, and yet took the time to understand our business specific needs and nuances. The individuals we've had the pleasure of working with have been truly top notch and made the entire design and implementation a wonderful experience.

Pros

The functionality has been great through our implementation and go-live time frame. It performs as designed and with very few issues thus far. The OmPrompt solution makes it easy for our business Subject Matter Experts to identify an issue when one does arise, and correct it quickly.

Cons

In order to drive such great results, onboarding customers was more time intensive than originally planned for. The investment up front to ensure orders are processed accurately and with few touches as possible is worth it, but just a caution to plan accordingly depending on the variety of business rules in your instance.

We looked at 3 different vendors and ultimately chose OmPrompt for their clear vision to understand and meet our business needs and not simply try to upend our (and our customer's) processes.

Making business plans achievable

Having worked within my company for years doing everything manually, it is such a relief to know that anything can pretty much be automated now that we have EDI. I can put forward suggestions that I feel may not be possible and somehow there is always a way!

Pros

Having a portal where you can check that all orders, invoices and other business documents are successful is a very useful tool to have and fall back on

Cons

With no IT knowledge, like myself, it can be a bit difficult to understand the ins and outs fully, but their support team are always available to help guide you through

Omprompt Optical Character Recognition Solutions for Medtronic Order Processing

Over-all the experience for Omprompt Order Management Solutions is great! The support of Omprompt IT is excellent and they make workable solutions with faster turn-around time.

Pros

Over-all feedback. The solution is effective for faster order processing of our highly digitized format Purchase Orders or direct orders. It gives us efficiency and capacity gains in our deployed countries. Support- The Omprompt IT team deployment is easy to work with and very responsive for any troubleshooting. System- The capability is always dependable and we rarely get a downtime or missing order.

Cons

The normal issue we have is the limited offering for OCR solutions since it cannot read the PO if the format changes. You need to pay if there are changes in PO format.
