PowerHouseWMS is a warehouse management solution (WMS) suitable for businesses of all sizes and industries. It offers tools to manage multiple warehouse activities including receiving, replenishment, task interleaving, cycle counting, wave planning, shipments and more.

PowerHouseWMS offers a cloud-based portal for managers that provides real-time access to warehouse activities, data and performance indicators. It helps managers to remotely monitor order status, shipment status and deliveries. The role-based security feature allows administrators to configure data accessibility settings according to users' roles.

PowerHouseWMS can be deployed both on-premise and in the cloud. Users get a wide range of modules to choose from, and depending on their warehouse requirements they can pick modules for 3PL billing, replenishment tracking, cycle counting, communication and transportation management and more.

PowerHouseWMS also integrates with third-party ERP, accounting and EDI systems to facilitate the exchange of details within applications.

QQSI PHS gets the 3PL job done

Pros

It very well thought out and put together to properly manage and monitor your 3PL operations

Long time customer, we are 10 times the size we were 10 years ago and Powerhouse managed to keep pace with automation interfaces and whatever else we needed to grow. That along with the ability to speak directly to a developer is gold.

Pros

Solid, tested, working software with great support. Innovation comes naturally to the highly skilled developers

Pros

There is a very short training curve with this software. Very easy to use.

Cons

The reporting features are poor requiring the use of 3rd party reporting tools.

Great dependable software that run our business 24 7. Helps us to get product out the door reliably and timely.

Pros

Very flexible, they can always tweak the system to handle our needs and adapt to new hardware and operational changes.

Powerhouse WMS

It has been difficult to implement / transition from our previous system while trying to stay in business. If you have the ability to shut down your operation for a couple of weeks, then it would be much easier.

Pros

Flexibility / configuration - software can support many different business models / workflows

Cons

Zero documentation. There is no user guide. There is no administrative guide. There is no integration documentation. If there is a question, you need to engage QSSI, wait for a response, and then pay an invoice for support time. There isn't even a help system.

The integration documentation we were provided with was years out of date, and not accurate. It is also based on flat file integration when we are using web services.

Also, annual maintenance fees are very high (25% of the purchase price every year). Would be a little more tolerable if we didn't also receive an invoice every time we made a phone call to ask a question (almost always because there is no system documentation)

A very powerful WMS that is highly configurable.

Complete control over inventory.

Pros

Highly configurable without the need to do much customization to the core software product. Using advanced configuration, you can have the system function very efficiently. That being said, the system will only perform as well as the user that is using it.

Cons

Difficult for a novice user to navigate. If you are very computer proficient, you can pick up on the system fairly quickly. If your a technophobe, you will be dizzy trying to figure out how the system works in consideration all the configuration options.

Keeps all of our warehouses in Sync

Organization is paramount in our business. Each item in inventory is very expensive IE transmissions and automotive electronics. Without a solid WMS we could not be successful.

Pros

Software is very robust and limitless in its capabilities . As a tier one supplier to the automotive group FCA Chrysler and Delphi respectively we have to be up 100 percent of the time. We have this system deployed in all of our warehouses and our inventory audits are always balanced with physical counts from the assembly plants.

Cons

Its takes a little while to really understand all the different capabilities Powerhouse has. However, once learned you can say with confidence to your customer , Yes we can do that.
