Amazing tool for document management
Great. Its the better of any document management system I have used.
PROSAllows lots of ways to save almost any file you can imagine. Many ways to format / organize the files into a usable format no matter what you preferences. Security options are very easy to manage. Integration with other applications is great.
CONSBug usually have to wait for new versions and are not patched in current versions.

iManage is a Great Document Management System
I have been using iManage and other DMS's for over 20 years. I feel it's an important way to share documents among staff/teams working on the same project. Plus, it's searching tool is very very useful. It's a positive experience!
PROSThe best part is that iManage is designed to work with Microsoft applications, among others. Really really a great tool.
CONSFor some there is a bit of a learning curve. It can take a couple of weeks for someone that's new to it, before they're feeling really comfortable.
Reason for choosing iManage Records Manager
We considered using NetDocs, but we preferred iManage because of all the really useful tools for the end-user and system administrators. Oh, and the customer support is very good.

It does the job
I like the standalone program (desksite) as opposed to using in Outlook. Has all documents in one place and can share links to documents so the newest version is always available.
CONSSome funky quirks that make it hard to work sometimes. When selecting one document and dragging somewhere, your search/cursor goes back to the top of the list.

iManage for Information Governance and Retention
Takes a while to learn the system, but it integrates wonderfully with Outlook, Teams, and web browsers.
PROSI can't imagine a mor integrative system for managing legal information. When I receive data from attorneys, it is necessary that I have the technology to file documents accordingly and privately so other users cannot interfere.
CONSI honestly like iManage 9 better than 10 as far as layout and establishing security settings. Checking in and out documents takes getting used to.
