Helpful system, mostly intuitive with the help desk on hand for questions. Love the automations. It would be helpful for a quicker turn around with questions and for it to integrate with other tools.

That I can receive enquiries, schedule my students, invoice them, and then set it up the invoice automatically and receive the payments as well.

It doesn't integrate with other platforms and tools such as Calendly, Zapier, Pencil Spaces.

My experience at Tutorbird has been amazing so far.I left another tutoring management company for tutorbird. I AM SO HAPPY WITH TUTORBIRD. I felt like a huge load lifted off my shoulder. However there are many features in Ayotree that could serve tutorbird well but it was such a complicated tool and required a lot of administrative work.

I really like how neat the tool is. Using it is not complicated. And it removes a lot of administrative work.

There are some functionalities that are missing that are very important to tutors. For example, the ability to add a link that they can click on to access an online material. Right now we have to add the link in a word document and upload the document. It's much work for us this way. And some other feature would be needed as well maybe like a forum per class where students can share notes and thoughts.

It’s really handy to have the app run the money side of the business. Invoices & documents for tax purposes are easily generated.

TB is helpful to run my sole operation but can be glitchy at times. It has improved over time though & there are updates regularly.

TutorBird, formerly MySchoolBooks, is one of the most intuitive interfaces I've dealt with. It's fairly simple but is chock full of features for a great price, especially compared to other systems. They have kept my business alive honestly, especially through the pandemic. It's easy to keep track of and contact my customers.

I wish passwords could be assigned by the administrator and/or a link came when sending attachments. When families get a private attachment, they have to log in or else they cannot access the document. But there are also several folders the document could be in.

Overall Tutorbird is generally the best online booking service on the market. I have been working online for almost 4 years and they do exactly what they say. The customer service is helpful and quick to respond and bookings are easy to maintain.

Generally speaking its overall easy to keep track of my classes and stay up to date. You can integrate you website or use their options.

Invoicing is an issue because if i have multiple currency's , I have to change the region on my overall settings. I also cant just copy a prevoius invoice amount. However they do updates daily on the system

I like Tutorbird's calendar feature and the ability for my clients to cancel or reschedule. It takes the burden off of me to remember.

I wanted something that could grow with me and this is exactly what TutorBird have provided. They are always on hand to help but there are so many hints and tips that you do not really need to get hold of them!

There are many reasons why I love TutorBird - personable - can add your own logo / pricing etc - easy to use almost all of the elements of the software - The way in which invoicing can be automatic - You can link it with your own website!

To be honest, there isn't much I don't like about it! The only thing I would love to see them do is make it into an app so I can access it on the go!

The software is reasonably priced and effective for tutoring. It is significantly more effective than a typical book keeping software. The customer service is excellent! They are responsive and willing to answer all questions.

Some of the features are not intuitive. It would be helpful to have a more extensive help manual, perhaps one not connected to the software as you have to get out of the help feature to utilize the application in the software.

Using TutorBird means I spend far less time on all the boring admin jobs I loathe, which gives me more time to spend doing the teaching I love (and get paid for). The advice given during the initial training session was to introduce a small late payment fee and my goodness this has been revolutionary for my small business. Since joining Tutorbird and doing this, my invoices are all calculated automatically, go out on time and, more importantly, get paid quickly too. I no longer have to chase clients for payment each month. My increased productivity means TutorBird more than pays for itself.

Fabulous customer support from real people who speak excellent English. The free trial period with a remote live session with a TutorBird trainer to help me set up was brilliant and definitely influenced my decision to take a paid subscription. I love the way everything is customisable so I still feel in control and yet automated which saves me a great deal of time, money and stress.

TutorBird is so sophisticated and customisable that I don’t think I’m using all the options as much as I could (rather like research that shows people who buy computerised washing machines with many programmes and combinations, usually only use three of the many options available to them and never even try the rest). There are a few things I find difficult to understand and implement, e.g. the ‘make up credit’ options. Therefore, I think it would be a great idea for TutorBird to offer a 1:1 live training session for an hour each year (on renewal) to go through my account with me and check I’m making full use of all the many facilities TutorBird offers.

I tried different ways to run my business: -Talking with families and creating spreadsheets for their personal information-Hand creating invoices-Using spreadsheets for tracking attendance and billing datesThis was all WAY too cumbersome, not professional, left clients information vulnerable, and left HUGE opportunities for human error. TB takes all of this out of the equation and I'm a customer for life!

1. There is a learning curve for all the different operations but customer service really helped me learn the whole system. 2. Setting up one-time meetings is not very easy when I meet with parents for conferences3. Ensuring that tuition is correct (at least 1x/semester) since the billing is tied to the calendar can be time-consuming

My overall experience with TutorBird has been awesome! I really love this company, the software, and the staff I deal with when I need support. It meets so much of my business' needs. I honestly think I would not be as successful as I have been the last 4 years without TB. The fact that payroll is linked to the schedule and attendance really makes my life better! I also love that you can customize the payroll for different things, as well. I haven't used all of the features yet, but I have participated in the Beta version and love that TB is willing to listen and implement suggestions from their users. Overall, a fantastic value for a fantastic service!

What I love the most about TutorBird is how everything I need is in one place! I researched a bunch of different options and TB seemed to have almost everything I needed. In addition to the functionality of the software, I also love the support I receive from them. ANY time I email them, I get a response very quickly and they resolve it. I am in my 4th year with TutorBird and look forward to growing with them!

I am still only using a fraction of what is available, and I'm only using it on my side. I haven't given links to students/parents because I'm still not really familiar with the appearance on their end. This really is more my fault, but even after watching the training clips on YouTube, I wasn't confident enough to integrate the parents and students. I hope to do that this year.

We use tutorbird to schedule clients with tutors. We give parents a registration link and they get signed up with us (including their credit card). Just learning that feature has saved me hours of time. Once signed up, we schedule students with tutors. We bill clients and pay tutors. Tutors communicate with parents and record attendance.

Tutorbird's support has been awesome. We used Salesforce prior to this and it was just a beast to use and super expensive. For a small company, one person can easily manage running tutorbird and it's always working reliably!

My boss really hates the name TutorBird. He feels like it has an image that is not professional. Now that we've removed the tutorbird from emails going out, it's better.

I use Tutorbird to schedule all my students and keep track of all my income and expenses. My invoices are automatically sent and my clients' cc is automatically charged without me even doing anything. It saves me so much time. At tax time I print out reports from Tutorbird to bring to my tax guy. I also use Tutorbird to write down a short note about what I have done during each session. There are other features on TB that I have not even used.

I like to sync my calendar with my google calendar and it takes about a day for it to sync. I wish it was faster becauseI like the view on google calendar better- that I can print out on 1 page showing a week all in 1/2 hour blocks.

I love the invoice feature and invoice reminders for my families. I also love the end-of-the-year reports that I give to my tax preparer and to my families for their taxes.

I like how easy it is to use the scheduling program. I love that I can drop and drag students easily to different days. Love the ability to schedule reoccurring appointments.

I dislike that all payment types incur a fee. If Venmo does not cost to do payments in their app it should not cost to do them in this program.I also wish that you had an integrated way to do video lessons with students. Something like the Site Pearl uses.

Loving it as it helps me to manage the Scheduling of Lessons in an organized way and the taking attendance and keeping the lesson notes are really great help for me. I am using it almost everyday, as long as I have lessons.

Never really explore what other features I can use. Other than that, I am happy with it so far. If TutorBird allows to send messages to Parents via WhatsApp on the monthly fee, based on the scheduled lessons by just one click of button and also integrate with XERO to create invoices, that will be even better. But I don't as for more as TutorBird is really a great help for my business and thank you.

I wish there was the capability to attach documents to session notes emailed to parents as I've had to send a separate email after each lesson to send these attachments. The billing can often be confusing as well. I also wish there was a way to send documents for signature through Tutorbird.

I've been using TB for about two years now and have it essential for our team. We have a platform where we can keep our notes and information on students. It it has been crucial for invoicing and payments.

I had thought about a number of scheduling/billing programs for my tutoring business, and TutorBird tops them all, since it's specifically engineered for tutors. I love the scheduling and billing options and the student and parent portals. I love how easy it's made for me to automate many processes to save myself time.

You can't adjust time zones for tutors (even though you can do it for students). This proves very difficult, because I have tutors all over the country, and they're all in different time zones. I'm not sure why this isn't possible, since students can change their time zones.
