I like that Directus is free and open source, with an active community over Slack and that the software evolves very quickly.

Truly open source gives commercial products a run for their money, super helpful community, rapid development, easy customization.

Its  super easy to pull it locally and connect it to your existing api if you need to fiddle with it. It also has a very modern design which is appealing.

Often new bugs in new releases. Many things missing in the documentation.

It´s a great experience to work with directus as it is a free tool that can be used for clients as well as developers in a friendly way.

The overall App and API are outstanding and highly flexible for all kind of project.

Since the project is Open-Source and community-driven, it's a bit hard to get support for very specific problems. Sometimes nobody responded to my questions on the official Slack channel.

Very happy with Directus, it's an upgrade over the solutions we used before that.

The best thing about Directus is the community. It is great to be able to ask questions and get a real person to walk you through a solution.

Version 7 was great and now we're about to upgrade some of our projects to Version 8 (the demo looks awesome so far).

Bugs get fixed quite fast, and there is an active community. The software brings a ready-to-use REST- and GraphQL-API and permission management.

Best part is this can be clamped onto any SQL database and it will just start working then you can setup the table existing into the software.

There is a good extensions support for both APP and API. Easy deployement with Docker.

Friendly, helpful, understanding. Just out of a sense of loyalty to such good people, I will want to stay with them.

Overall impression (on our initial evaluation) was that someone really invested lot of time and thought into it.

Directus supports both Graphql  API and REST API. It is flexible and powerful that I can connect to any JAMstack site.

We really appreciate the efforts of RangerStudio to produce such a stable piece of Open Source software, which also can withstand production use cases with ease.

No Spatial Data Types (searching by distance is not possible).

I use it for customer projects whit a lower budget. I can save the time for backend development.

In the search for the perfect headless CMS solution, it was my choice, also because it's open source and at the moment the pricing of others options is over budget for our clients.

The interface is so user friendly and has a solid and highly customizable backend for all the needs.

The software is easy to configure and the community is very active continously improving the available functionalities and solving known issues.

With Directus I could built an MVP from zero to hero in a few days. It's user interface is pretty friendly and it's community on discord is amazing.

Easy to use initial configuration SQL for REST API  & GraphQL.

The main problem are sql queries, there was a lot of bugs when tried to create/update data or fields. If you enable cache (via redis for example) login is broken.

No option for push pull control of database for offline usage.

It has some minor UI errors, but the team fixes them daily. Some features you need functional.

The beautiful design, the excellent community support, ease of deployment. In short, what's not to like.

We've pinpointed bad time to start with it. Directus Team just started rolling out v8 where available documentation was for v7.

It is also versatile and open-source, making it possible to write extensions. The maintainers are super active on their Discord community and are super friendly.

We use directus for rapid database management, and for API endpoints to the data. We are customizing the solution to better fit with our needs and it works great.

I love having the ability to create EXACTLY my Interface in the Backend as i needed.

I can't work offline, which is terrible for someone who is required to do a lot of work inside airplanes.

You can't really duplicate a sheet, or there is something wrong with that feature that makes it extremely inconvenient for us to do so.

It's intuitive to learn so you can get up-to-speed quickly, and has terrific training and community support to allow users to build upon their Smartsheet skills and become experts.

I love the flexibility and ease of use. The ability to flip from tasklist to schedule to card views is great.

What I like best about Smartsheet is the great amount off functionalities it has, it can be used for many purposes and it is very easy to set up.

They're so easy to customize and they have great webinars that can help support you. I like the ability to upload documents to show and share project progress with other members of your team.

Overall our experience has been great, customer service and tutorials are awesome.

The new features have been awesome. One think I love the best is the Report Builder functionality.

I had a trouble to understand how the conditional formatting is working at first, not many tutorial or manual provided and I had to study the feature on my own.

The issue is not the software but the person setting it up. It is frustrating to contribute to the poorly designed Smartsheet because of the lead's limited knowledge.

I love using Smartsheet daily. It is user friendly, beautifully designed and smart.

Someone it is hard to give access to others - but that is user error on our end with the credentials.

Overall, we are happy with our roll-out of Smartsheets, as it has allowed us greater organization and insight into our project plans and their successes.

The lack of an autosave feature can be frustrating at times. I believe this is something that could easily be implemented in the future.

Cost efficient easy to use project tracking tool with good view options.

It's easy to set up, and I don't really have to dig too much to find the functionality it's designed for. I love love love that it's online and I can easily search for my sheets.

I have long been an admin user of this solution and have continued to build an understanding of all the excellent features that are available within this.

There is an excellent integration with both JIRA and Salesforce, allowing us to leverage all three products together for increased efficiency.

It is great to be able to share assets with others, keep comments together with their project and track progress in one place.

Love the automation aspect and form-building to collect information from outside organizations, etc. Super easy to learn and do on your own.

There is so much that I love about Smartsheet. The fact that you can create forms and that they have pre-determined templates that allow you to build out all kinds of documents.

I loved the flexibility and the ability to export into an Excel file, when needed. I also loved how it updates and saves.

There is a lot to Smarsheets which can be intimidating to new users, and it's not the easiest to pick up with so many options for customization.

The best thing about this software is the value it provides for the price. This is good for tracking projects and milestones.

Therefore, it’s a useful application to investigate on daily basis about the assigned tasks in an interesting way.

It is really helpful when you are a leading or being just a part of some project. It helps to manage all information well.

I love that this software is so easy to use. If you have ever used a spreadsheet software before, then you are good to go.

The maintenance can be a pain, even though you are warned ahead of time.
