Continues to be enhanced and improved. Love the new plugin integration that turns everything on by a checkbox. WeDevs keeps you updated. Always updating package. #### Cons Needs more plugins to make it versatile. Simple things like used/new classifications, more options that allow the user to take care of things and not have to do custom work. Needs more options to compete with eBay, many stores are meant to be setup like eBay and Amazon third party vendors. Need to compete with that. Would like to see more integration with those platforms as well. --- ### FAILURE TO HONOR ADVERTISED PRICING - Overall rating: 3/5 - Reviewer: Marc G. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Marketing and Advertising - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used daily for less than 2 years - Reviewed: November 2024 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 2/5 - Customer support: 1/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros Wordpress plugin works good. Provides good functionality with some small technical issues. #### Cons Claim their discounted pricing is "automated" but when looking at the discount within the timeframe they refuse to honor the advertised discount. Technical issues take way too long to resolve due to either number of issues and lack of staff or often times team "retreats" or office closures. --- ### I have been using Dokan for 3 years. Overall experiences with the software is awesome! - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Verified reviewer: Yes - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: July 2018 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered New marketplace software experiences. Connection with new marketplace vendors #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Full marketplace features at reasonable price. Comparetively, with other marketplace software, Dokan learning curve is the best with complete documentation and support #### Cons Bug updates sometime takes longer then expected to resolve. Especially on simple features request or bug update request --- ### This plugin is pretty easy to customize and has most features you'd need built in. - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Food & Beverages - Product usage: Used weekly for less than 12 months - Reviewed: July 2018 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros There's a lot that this plugin does, and support is very responsive. I've been able to customize a lot of things myself. I don't think it's set up to be plug and play, it requires some customization. #### Cons Customization could be easier. For example, I have no way to remove "Downloads" from the main tab. My marketplace has no downloads and so that confuses people. Payment says "Dokan Stripe," which I had to enter into the code to change. There are a bunch of small things like that that cause a bunch of customization work. Also, a shipping integration would be incredibly helpful. --- ### Bugs, Terrible Support, Fraudulent Transactions - Overall rating: 1/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Retail - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for less than 2 years - Reviewed: October 2020 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered Support was awful, tons of bugs, ended the relationship with a fraudulent credit card charge. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 1/5 - Value for money: 1/5 - Customer support: 1/5 - Functionality: 1/5 #### Pros It was quick to set up. That's it. No other redeeming qualities in the long-term. #### Cons TONS of bugs. I experienced constant issues. And when I brought these issues up with their technical support, I was confronted with total incompetence. So frustrating. They don't read messages, they don't troubleshoot, and I doubt the proper QA before release. The biggest bug, payment processing was broken so that 10-20% of my transaction would error out. In e-commerce, that's a death nail. Support was no help, it took over 2 MONTHS. There are constant grammar errors across this software, both in the front end an administrator end. Really unprofessional. Page designs are terrible and dated. To top it all off, I canceled. Well guess what, they tried to charge my card for renewal anyway! Good thing my bank identified it as a fraudulent transaction. #### Reasons for choosing Dokan Multivendor Feature set looked nice. Beware, it's all buggy and terrible. --- ### Phenomenal Support - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Marketing and Advertising - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used daily for less than 6 months - Reviewed: April 2019 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. I can not disagree with this enough, my experienced so far as been the best support I have experienced on any platform. They are extremely helpful and I feel like i am co-developing my system with how swift and helpful they are with their support. I would like to mention that I never write reviews but the support has totally blown me away. This is a definite must have. #### Cons Nothing, I have no complaints as the support is amazing and the updates are very frequent. --- ### Great multivendor plugin - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used monthly for less than 12 months - Reviewed: April 2021 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you.
