Pros/Cons
Pros
- I am extremely pleased with the software that is very easy to use and helps me run my business successfully.
- I like that Ecwid allows me to create and run a store online, and has plenty of options to personalize my storefront. It is a good platform, and is good for beginners to learn on as well.
- Extremely easy to set up your ecommerce site, user friendly and feature rich. After investigating several other solutions, ecwid is by FAR the best of the best.
Cons
- This was my mistake, and it caused me unnecessary confusion as my store grew.
- So creating a shipping label should be an integral part of any e-commerce website. I am not sure only Ecwid does not have it or no websites have it.
- Don’t like that I have to pay for a lot of extra features that I could use.
Pros
- I like that the fact that it is so easy to set up...And the help is definitely there if you need it...and its perfect for small business owners...even when business isn't business as usual.
- I love how they evolved with the times. Square is NOT just for profit businesses but a big deal to nonprofits too.
- We love the delivery and curbside pickup features. There are still improvements that could be made, like setting up a subscription program to encourage recurring orders.
Cons
- Website would just randomly change settings and we would have to start over. Horrible reporting that is completely unusable.
- Leaving after a month- completely ruined our holiday sales with all the issues customers were having with the site.
- Some editing features are difficult to understand when adding pages or sections to online platform.
