Your one stop shop for POD ecommerce

Friendly support who have been very helpful. It's just easy to setup. I had a new store connected to Printify with it's fist product available within half an hour and its also easy to setup your domain with it too.

PROS

Native integration with Print on Demand services like Printify and Printful. This is what set Launch Cart apart for me. It is via API, but the fact that it's ready to go is great. Even the lower plans come with no limits on the number of products you can sell (compared to other ecommerce platforms). Even the free plan allows for 50 products!

CONS

There's only one small things I've noticed, I'd like the ability to allow customers to upload images when ordering (for personalised POD prducts). They do allow for text input which is great, but for my specific use case it would be great to allow image upload also. The support team have been great and I expect them to have this feature soon! Ive requested a blog writing feature also which hopefully will be added soon too.

Reason for choosing Launch Cart

I wanted POD integration and to have the ability to sell multiple products. Each other the competitor products cost a lot more once you start adding these things to the mix.

Reasons for switching to Launch Cart

Shopify is amazing, but it is expensive. Launch Cart gives me everything I need to setup and run stores without the large bills, this way I can experiment a bit more without having to invest much upfront.

Great Platform!

If you have a POD business or make and sell your own products this is a great platform! You will have to put the work in to get your shop out there and get your own customers but the fact that there is just one small fee per sale it's worth it.

PROS

I love Launchcart! It's fairly user friendly interface. They only take one small fee per sale, there are no limits to what/how much you can have in your store. You can have as many stores as you wish and be able to switch between shops is awesome! They have an easy integration with POD as well.

CONS

Since this platform is still being improved I don't have any complaints. They have a great communication with shop owners about upcoming new features etc.

Reasons for switching to Launch Cart

Those platforms will nickel and dime you to the poor house. Launchcart will not.

Vendor Response

Hi Cynthia, thank you for your kind words! We are always working hard to ensure our users' SUCCESS! Thank you for supporting us so we can continue supporting fellow entrepreneurs using Launch Cart :)

Still Buggy

Don't have much of an experience because it's not production ready yet.

PROS

I lIke the pricing and the amount of products offered. The ability to allow visitors to personalize is a bonus.

CONS

Items in the store are not updating. After contacting support it is said the issue will be resolved in 2 to 4 weeks. The issue is serious and preventing me from selling. Support also says it takes 24 hours for a response, but it took 2 days for them to tell me they can't do anything.

Vendor Response

Hi Theo, We're working hard here to bring about the best features we can onto our platform in order to best support our users' success on Launch Cart. Since your review 2 years ago, we've since added plenty of new features as requested by our community of Launch Cart users.

Scaled in a short amount of time

It's ready if you are!

PROS

I took this platform and worked from zero to 250k in 90 days during the Presidential campaign with no monthly cost. With self taught tips from youtube and facebook, it wasn't hard at all. Compared to @amazon.com this is a great way to develop and scale your model with little upfront money commitment. I've also seen Launch Cart grow with me. It's powerful!

CONS

Need an email integration platform, which I hear is coming??? Mailchimp maybe?

Reason for choosing Launch Cart

More automation and less conflict with plug-ins.

Vendor Response

Hi Kevin, thanks for your review! We do have MailChimp integration available! We're working hard here to bring about the best features we can onto our platform in order to best support our users' success on Launch Cart. The best is yet to come and the sky is the limit for Launch Cart and our users!

It's not perfect, but has potential to be.

I've been in e-commerce in one form or the other for over twenty years, building my first shop in a now-defunct PHP store. I have seen the ins and outs, and have learned and grown and learned some more. LC has a ways to go before they're competing with the likes of Shopify or Woocommerce. But they're well on their way. Particularly if they keep their system free, and build it to encourage entrepreneurs to sell more. I think they have a solid start, at the very least, and if they start implementing changes I mentioned in Cons (RSS, SEO, PayPal, Security), I think it would help a lot of people and alleviate fears. I'm a fan of Launch Cart. I already have two stores I'm building, and helping my son build one for himself. When they implement PayPal, that will blow open doors. It's not perfect. But it's expanding exponentially and will change the way I grow my business.

PROS

First off, it's free. Which I'm a fan of. Well, they take 3% of each sale. BUT there are no out-of-pocket costs. Which is huge for a start-up. I love that they integrate with Printful really quickly and easily. You can add new products right from the Launch Cart dashboard, which is aces. I love that. Makes it 10x easier to build my storefronts. I like that they have some SEO fields that you can customize your SEO per product. Which, can be tedious. But I like the OPTIONS to do so. Their stores are mobile-friendly out of the gate. In this mobile-first webciety that's a pretty big deal. They're evolving, which is also pretty awesome. Shows that they're looking to grow. You can have multiple stores from the same dashboard, so you don't need to log into multiple storefronts to edit or add product. That's very awesome for someone who will probably build out 10 different niche sites. I don't want a separate login for each one.

CONS

Lack of security: While I love you can log into multiple stores from one login, I feel they need to implement some better security. 2FA/MFA at the very least should be implemented to protect the stores. Do NOT implement "are you a human" checkers as that's just annoying. But MFA, do it. The lack of PayPal has really halted me from going full bore. They integrate with Printful, which only uses PayPal. BUT LC only implements with Stripe. That's not very helpful for me! I'm told May 30, 2021 they should have this feature implemented to chose PayPal. If that's the case, then the sky is the limit on what I can do. SEO is still kind of limited. You can't really update too much of the store's SEO. Alt tags, meta headers, etc. Themes are limited. You have 7 basic-looking themes. I mean, it's an e-commerce shop, I get it. But would be nice to have a few more options. RSS is missing. Which, kind of nerfs some of the indexing of the site. Would be great to see an RSS feed of your products so you can push it to search engines for proper indexing, stick it in Google Search Console, and do some forward-thinking marketing and content tweaking. After all, for some people, the e-commerce world is their bread and butter. And, as I mentioned, I would love to build many niche stores. But, it gets hard when you've not really ranked well. RSS feed opens a huge extra door. And, in theory, should be easy to implement. No WordPress, Facebook Business, or Instagram Shops integration

Vendor Response

PayPal has been integrated with Launch Cart as well as many other payment providers like NMI, OpenNode, and more coming soon. We've also added upsells, bump offers, drag n' drop funnel builders and more.
