Varnish for caching is a MUST and easy to setup on Magento, that's what I like most, because for big scale projects caching and performance is always required by default.

This put us behind schedule with our new store roll out because we ended up wasting time fighting with the system when it didn't seem necessary.

This can be incredibly helpful for a smaller company that wants an enterprise-level eCommerce platform, but has a smaller budget.

The open source nature of the software is absolutely amazing, and it has been fun to watch it expand over all these years.

Its good because its free but if you can stability and dont have a massive catalog, youre better off somewhere else.

If your admin set you up incorrectly, you may be limited in your actions. Older versions are a little more confusing.

Biggest problem with the software is its complexity. If you are beginner then it is very difficult to understand the structure of its panel.

Easy promo setup options, discounts on product and cart level easy to configure, add one easy to apply using third party extensions.

I wouldn’t really say that this is a negative, as it’s a standard housekeeping that you would do on any eCommerce platform.

Great platform if you have the development team and budget behind you.

The development on the platform is incredibly difficult. And when a client asks for updates, many Magento developers have bad practices due to the low entry point.

We were very satisfied with the features offered and the ease of use.

It helps a lot to deploy the eCommerce application quickly with grade plugins. Also, integration with our backend ERP was an easy task with a given API layer.

Configuring the platform is frustrating, it needs high skills and is very poor in basic features. You need to install many extra modules and this could make you lose speed and stability.

If you have to customize any part of your ecommerce operation, such as a tricky ERP integration, Magento is hands down the best solution.

The enterprise version is insanely expensive. Not only do you pay a monthly fee, but the modules themselves cost double to three times more money than their community edition counterparts.

I used it once, the UX was so bad and I was so frustrated. I wanted to update Magento to a newer version, but was not able to do so.

Integrating it with your add-ons is easy and hassle-free. Of course, to have it all, you need a robust hosting that is consistent with the system.

I started out with Shopify, as recommended by my IT, but I’m really thankful I moved over to Magento community version.

Netstock for Sales Forecasting / Demand Planning. Netsuite claims to be able to do all of the above, it may do, but to such a poor level, it's not a viable option.

For my particular area of work, inventory management is great and is better than its competitors.

I recently switched over to Netsuite and I have really enjoyed it so far. It seemed like I picked it up after only a few days of using it.

I really like this program better than sales force because it’s easier to Navigate set of the systems.

From contract negotiation, implementation and after sales support, this has been my worst vendor experience as a 20 year professional.

When NetSuite has errors, they tend to be very bad ones and take a while to get fixed, which hurts our daily business.

I like that I can store all of the companies information in one place. I like that our customers are easy to find.

The structure of Estimate > Sales Order > Invoice is nice. Use of Tasks and Customer notes, contacts and related information is also nice.

You can integrate with any other application and also it's very fast and reliable. This can be the good solution for EDI also.

I'm in purchasing and have use over 15 different software systems and this is probably the worst or tied for worst.

The robust features that come out of the box are great. I like the abundance of add on Modules and Suiteapps available.

It helps tie costs and resources to a project code and manage expense approvals and reporting. Woud really like some features for mass uploads to save time.

They have so much 'clicking' to do they get confused, push the wrong button and because the whole thing is in effect an accounts package it can be difficult to undo the mess.

I love being able to mess around and try things without actually affecting the books. It also integrates with just about every finance product I've ever been interested in.

NetSuite can be difficult to learn at the beginning. You also have to pay for an outside service to link you emails from Outlook to NetSuite.

No accountability for system issues, error, or outages. Sneaky contracts that will hook you with discounts and raise fees exorbitantly after your are stuck with your data and huge conversion costs.

We have had poor support with the local NetSuite facilitating company. While we have made strides in the integration, it has taken years to do so, and we are a small company.

Honestly the best thing I like about NetSuite is how easy it is to contact Customer Service and how helpful they are.

The customer support is horrible. You can call your Account Executive and it takes days, weeks or months to get results.

After the trial it’s very hard to get any customer service or contact from the company. The service team sells the product and then they are nowhere to be found, and very difficult to contact.

A very good software for cloud base and does the basics  as well as for any other added customisation.

Set up team is great, and very accommodating. Overall product is great and we are looking forward to a lasting relationship.

Netsuite is essential to our finance department. It is user friendly and I would recommend to any company looking to switch their software.

I tested the free trial for the software and was amazed at it's capability. Definitely a winner for any company looking to scale their business.

NetSuite has been a great place for our company to store its financial information in a way that is organized and clean.

We have muliple units of the organisation which is very much effective to manage from this product service. Consolidation of Accounts: Very easy  I love it.

Need extensive expertise and training. Hard to integrate with other platforms.
