This has TOO MANY ISSUE TAGS - from the inbuilt ones to the ones you add, you get oversaturation and tagging for issues becomes meaningless.

Search functions are kind of finicky using booleans, and the native viewer for MS office documents is very flawed. Spreadsheets often fail to open at all, and larger documents can choke the system.

Everlaw is an excellent platform, is easy to use and adds value to the client's case. Making documents easilty accessible.

But developing workflow seems to be a bit more difficult depending on the type of case people have.

High customizability on the end user interface, i.e., a reviewer can freely customize views, searches and short-cuts, etc. Super easy to batch-process duplicates and identify near duplicates.

The ease of use and quick customer pick-up is wonderful; many aspects are remarkably straight-forward to use; the knowledge base is a phenomenal asset.

Whenever I have questions about how to use the system, they have been able to walk me through and suggest new and creative ways to use the features.

Sometimes it can be confusing to structure a query, but that is the case with any platform.

The only problem has been I think the login screen has too many steps.

I love the ease of use and the online tutorials in real time.

I product the demo for clients. It’s easy to get them excited about it They really like the self processing feature.

As a solo practitioner, I am very happy to have the Everlaw team supporting me when I need them.

If I did have a complaint, they would likely address it very speedily in one of their monthly new-feature updates.

Their responsiveness is fantastic -- far better than any other product we have used.

Additionally, the ability to quickly move and change document coding tags is fantastic. The search engine on it is second to none, and your key terms are highlighted within the document.

The processing and review functions are superb and can be customized to any type of matter or workflow.

It’s difficult to get your annotations out of the software.

This is good stuff, and the search options are incredibly powerful and easy to use. You can easily batch documents for review, or use saved searches to do the same.

If a panel or view is not set up properly, it can cause endless problems for the actual review - simple tasks generate errors causing lost productivity.

This software has a lot of capabilities and is very intricate. You can set numerous parameters and there are a TON of features.

Also, the software times out on sessions so if you get yourself distracted by an important task you may find your session timed out, losing your place in the document queue.

It's production tool is difficult to work with and it's difficult to teach to new users.

My favorite thing about Relativity is the customization it allows for. The software basically allows you to customize every space to fit whatever needs you have for a particular document review.

This software is very user friendly and has improved significantly over the years that I've used it.

Relativity is very easy to use and can be customize to fit your project. It is an efficient tool to use for large document reviews.

Everyone in our firm expressed great joy and relief when we replaced Relativity.

This program, if customized appropriately by the vendor, is very powerful.

There is no preview function, requiring you to click on each document.

What I like most about the software is how it is structured, the layout and its appearance. The user interface is eye appealing.

Struggles with large files at times, often causing delay.

The software can be slow at times. This becomes frustrating when trying to code a certain number of documents per hour.

I like the ease of use of this software and how it is intuitive and allows you to complete large document reviews efficiently and economically.

It must be inexpensive since so many companies use it as their main platform. I hate working on doc review jobs that use Relativity.

The Relativity software provides best results when it works smoothly.

At times, the program can freeze up or take a long time to review one document to the next. I also dislike that there are conversion errors for some documents.

When the system is down, and it rarely is, you are stuck waiting for the technical glitch to be worked out.

It's very very very very difficult to even think of any cons whatsoever to Relativity. Perhaps users license fees would be a con.

Overall I enjoy using Relativity. My experience has been positive and it has made e-discovery work enjoyable.

Overall the software is amazing and it often is used by legal firms and accounting entities. You will not go wrong with Relativity  - its a decent price for the best results.

Everlaw is a cloud-based legal management solution specializing in e-discovery support. Key features include search capabilities, a prediction engine that calls up relevant documents and a context panel where users can see related documents grouped together.


Everlaw’s search function lets users drag-and-drop different filters into their search query. Filters available include document type, document rating and document language. Users can also search by team member or client.
