Best way to use Relativity on a small project
We use it mainly for fast-burn ECA reviews and small projects that only require a quick email review.
PROSFast and easy setup, DIY for everything but with a fantastic, responsive support team available to handle anything out of our comfort zone. Ability to do nearly any admin task ourselves is key.
CONSNo complaints or issues, and any time we have any issues or questions, the Spectra support team always has a quick and good answer.
Reason for choosing Lighthouse Spectra
Self-administration and cost for smaller projects (which, if and when they become large projects, are easily migrated to full service).

Lighthouse Spectra is Critical to our Litigation Operations
The support team has made my overall experience with Lighthouse Spectra better than I ever could have imagined. They are fast to respond, and help me solve problems as they arise even with a tight deadline. The support team are extremely kind and are one of the primary reasons my firm will stick with Lighthouse Spectra.
PROSLighthouse Spectra makes our litigation and eDiscovery work so much easier. The interface is slick and easy to process documents into Relativity. It allows my small firm to go toe-to-toe against much larger firms.
CONSIt is an extremely complex application. There is a steep learning curve and it can be challenging to learn as your going.

New to Lighthouse Spectra and Relativity
Overall Lighthouse Spectra is very good. Customer service has been excellent and I like the ability to easily upload productions myself
PROSI like the keyword search capabilities, the save search feature, including editing and copying saved searches, and ease to batch export documents to PDF
CONSUnlike concordance, where the metadata and extracted text could be seen along with the list of documents that responded to a search or tag, one must click on and enter each document to see the metadata and text. Also, search history is not easily available

Spectra Review
The product requires zero infrastructure investment from our firm. The ability to get up and running quickly on any matter is beneficial. The customer support team is top-notch and shows that they truly want to help the client.
CONSI would like a billing module built in to the software so that it doesn't require interaction with the Lighthouse team each month. The import/export feature needs to be fine tuned to handle larger exports more efficiently.

We were excited to be involved in the early stages and development of the software. Many things that were requested to be included by our firm are now important parts of the software.

That's a few names to acknowledge along the list of employees who we interact with daily that have been incredibly helpful in educating, problem solving, troubleshooting and in general great working relationships with employees from Lighthouse Spectra.
PROSEasy to integrate and use independently, but also have a great team of PM's on the full service side that are great to work with and make our lives easier to handle multiple requests at the same time.
CONSI currently do not have any issues with the software that are noteworthy at this time.
