Benchmark Gensuite EHS has been a proven EHS system all this time, evolving with the evolving needs of the EHS function. Their focus on service and responding to your needs are world class. Technical go-live for some basic modules can be as short as three months ! Benchmark ESG is a full suite with all one would need for EHS and ESG management, allowing for phased imlementation of modules at the speed and scope that is needed. The ESG modules are fully CSRD ready . The EHS modules will provide you with functionalities to support your EHS program, covering compliance, SIF and HOP strategies. The use of embedded AI, like describe-itAI and the PSIF-AI are state of the art. Also there are options to link up external vendor AI tools. For example, the 3MotionAI ergnomic tools can be integrated into the Ergonomic Risk Assessment module. #### Cons The permission model structures are kept intentionally as simple as possible. Understandable for out-of-the-box. However in some areas permission structures requirements are more complicated. Example around ESG reporting. The need for "Limited Assurance" in CSRD regulations requires a double sign off on the reported data and therefor requires more complexity, clarity and differentiation of permission levels for access, review, reporting and verification. As we were to implement a new HSE Management system for my current organisation, I suggested ESG Benchmark and I am excited about how ESG Bench has been developed over the 10 years since I lased used it. Our Benchmark team always tries to meet us in the direction we want to go, they listen to our request, go back to their developer team where they research what we are asking. They remain in constant communication with us to make sure they’re really understanding exactly what we are asking. They take the time to ask additional questions, provide suggestions and even give examples of successes with other projects they think would benefit us. We have set a goal where we really want our employees utilizing our Benchmark Concern Reporting Application more, last fall we worked with the Benchmark ESG team to launch the short form, a simple data collection method for employees that allows them to capture the Who, What, Where, and When of a Concern, and QR code capabilities for easy scanning/logging. The best thing about Gensuite is that it is user-friendly for our team, encouraging accurate reporting and data from our front line users through intuitive interfaces. We receive great data from Gensuite, and to me, that's what matters most in EHS software. #### Cons One of the challenges we face using Gensuite is that we have to operate as a third-party contractor for another company that uses Gensuite requiring us to input data separately between both instances. Everything you need for a global company is contained all on one platform. Whether an incident happened across the street, or an incident happened across the world in China, I have all the data all at my fingertips. For features and functionality, Gensuite has everything we need, and we can be a pretty demanding group. Displaying 15 different customized metric reports to a big, diverse group is critical. Gensuite is also relatively inexpensive compared to other systems. #### Cons Customer support can't come fast enough. We want help right away and sometimes it takes a week. This enables our company to simplify our audits, which solidifies management and employee support. As a business administrator for my company, I can easily view what's happening at each of our plant's from our corporate headquarters. The applications we utilize are very user friendly. Lastly, we really like how most of the applications are integrated with others, for example; when you conduct an audit, you simply export those items to the action tracking app for tracking purposes. #### Cons For those in my organization, the applications take some time to get used to. I have been using Gensuite for over 13 years. The basic app use is effective, but there is inconsistency with design. For example, the location of the SUBMIT buttons. They are not in a consistent place in every application. Sometimes they are to the right or left or center and top middle or bottom of page. Consistency of where to find certain functions is what makes navigating Microsoft product interfaces so easy. For example, I always go back to the File menu to SAVE and this is always in the same place in every application - excel, word, powerpoint. Also, convenient for our Senior management to use it during the review meetings since this gives us a leverage to show and filter as per our need. #### Cons I do not have cons for this software. No incentive was offered Allows for the digitization of an EHS program. Many of the applications are built off the same/similar platforms which makes easy to learn new applications. GenSuite also allows for the manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data and it also has great e-mail functionality to allow for both alerting and workflow situations.
