Verified reviewer Industrial Automation 11-50 employees Used weekly for less than 12 months Reviewed February 2022 From solidworks Electrical to Cofaso 5 It is very positive, design is easy, adding components is easy, the catalog is very extense, the BOM feature is very handy. Ratings Breakdown 5 Ease of use 5 Value for money 5 Customer support 4 Functionality Pros: It is very inexpensive compared to other products, its very easy to use and has all the features I needed for electrical design. My transition from solidworks to Cofaso was very clean, and to train users on the software was very easy, opposed to AutoCAD Electrical. What was great is that I could make both electrical and pneumatic diagrams. Cons: I believe the numbering system numbers the page as a whole, meanwhile, I wanted a Branch to keep a certain sufix, but this was not possible as in solidworks electrical. It is a very minor detail, but I had to manually name all phases in my diagrams modifying the sufix to accomodate to the standard we had in the shop. Reasons for switching to cofaso Anual pricing was ridicously high. We were also deterred from making the single fee payment. Read More PS Priyadarshi S.
