The one negative that I've had was any time I've needed to work with your customer support team, it's often that I'm waiting most of the day, or even the next day before I get a response to an e-mail. Implementation was quick and easy with every user signing themselves up painlessly and working within a few minutes. #### Cons It can be cumbersome if you have 2 clients (Husband and wife) who both need to know about the contract, but we only need 1 signature. We've had a few examples where we've had a contract sit for a few days because the second party didn't know that it was necessary for them to sign before the contract would come back. A group contact, that would send to multiple people, but only require a signature from one of the group could be a way to handle this. #### Reasons for choosing Foxit eSign The adobe interface wasn't as friendly to new users. It is simple to set up templates and send to multiple signers. I LOVE that I can enforce signing sequences too. All in all, it does everything I need it to do for a fraction of the price of competitors. I send out tons of envelopes daily and it is super easy and quick. #### Cons Sales - note this was from before the merger with Foxit, but we tried renewing with eSign Genie and were unable to get any sort of contact form their sales rep. Luckily their support team comped us envelopes until we could reach our rep. What should have taken 1 day ended up taking two weeks. #### Reasons for switching to Foxit eSign HelloSign was constantly down and causing delays in our workflow. It is nice because you can have it forever and just try out the e-sign process and even if you don't like it for whatever reason, at least you have a PDF program forever. In comparison that the other software they don't let you make purchases anymore. You can also get a subscription, and it is much more affordable and not as expensive as the competitors. It is worth the purchase. #### Cons The biggest thing is it isn't as user-friendly. I used adobe before and the program is more simplified and the icons are easy to read and very legible. It needs to have more how-to-use and easy access easy to use. It might be the difference in why people prefer using adobe or other programs over Fox-it. Not only was it easy to recreate these forms and deliver them, but we were able to seamlessly integrate this process into my client's very specific workflow. #### Cons Sometimes the process of creating a form by overlaying form fields on an existing document can be a little tricky, especially if you're aiming for visual perfection. It can be a little touchy. But it can be accomplished with a little patience and effort. Also, the IDE for creating signature documents and templates was easier-to-use than those of the other tools we evaluated. #### Cons We needed to audit sign-ups for a research study which required that we be able to review document signatures retroactively to confirm that an individual had not already participated. Our service level agreement did not support retention of log information for document signatures any further back than 30 days, which meant we lost the ability to audit individuals who had signed up at the beginning of the study. As a therapist, I update my forms with small changes somewhat regularly, and I love that I can upload the new version right over the old one, and my fields stay mainly in the same place. I don't have to re-create every time. It's also crucial that the platform be simple for my users (clients), and that it works efficiently on any device while also being secure and HIPAA compliant. #### Cons Because the email notifications about documents to review come from eSignGenie (which is an unknown name to some), the email can end up in the spam filter. Now, after using this for several months, I have to say that I find it hard to believe there is a better program out there for less or more money. This was easy to learn and teach others how to use. That speaks to how simple and easy the dashboard is to navigate. Even somebody who has never used e-signature software before can figure out how to use the whole system from start to finish in sending documents for electronic signatures. #### Cons I do not like that I am not able to use this in an add-on for google products as well as Microsoft. That may simply be because it is not a ubiquitous as DocuSign, but this software has all of the same great features for half of the cost. I being able to create documents in our brand with ease. I am still learning the product and becoming more proficient as I use it more and more. The customer is exceptional which is important when I am on a deadline and can't figure out how to do something. #### Cons Merges were a new learning curve. I wish that I could use my csv files that already been created instead of downloading the spreadsheet and then uploading the spreadsheet. I have used this service for almost 2 years now and looked at other options as well. They are typically more expensive and foxit does a fine job of meeting my needs, just as much as any other electronic document software. #### Cons At times the software feels a little clunky. No incentive was offered I have used different e-signature sites for the past couple of years. Not a big user, dozen or so times a year. I have a small real estate business so I need to have leases signed etc. There are 3 areas that distinguish one e-signature provider from another in my experience: price, customer service quality and availability, and site security. In these three elements, eSign Genie is superb and superior to all others I have tried. For site security, they have more built-in layers of protection and precautionary measures than their competitors (this does make their software slightly more complex to work with, but it's not hard to pick it up) For price, they offer paid packages, as all others do, but they also provide a free option. I'm sure it doesn't have the bells and whistles of the paid packages, but it does the trick just fine for simple documents signings ' and free is a great price. For that alone they deserve to be applauded. But what really sets these guys apart, is their standard of customer service. Truly impressive. Quick example of this. I sent out a document. Notifications came in as the tenants signed. Then a notification saying the document is executed available for download. I open my account and the document is there, along with a separate security certificate, which I opened first. I then opened the executed document. Only to find it was blank of any signatures! So I either have to re-send the document to my 4 tenants and tell them to sign again. Or I can try to reach out to customer service and ask what happened here and can you pull my document out of cyberspace? Now this is happening on a Saturday morning mind you. As I hope not bother my tenants, I decide give their customer service a try. Sent an email, thinking I might hear back from someone on Monday with what can be done. Couple hours later I get a reply from eSign Genie. Mahender Bist writes to say our technicians are checking into this, give some time please before you re-send your document. The next day, Sunday now!, I get another email from Mahender. Our technicians have recovered your document and discovered what caused your glitch. Please check your account and thanks for your business. First time user, free user, writing customer service on a Saturday, problem resolved on Sunday.
