Performance was the most important factor for us as we had a couple big deals fall through in the past due to errors with the signing process. And so far, signNow has been very impressive. Namely, the PDF scanning feature, the smooth field alignment, good uptime, and all the compliances makes it very hassle-free to use. We usually scan our docs but we had to create several docs from scratch as well and the template library was very helpful when doing so because you don't have to do everything form the beginning but can just pick a standard agreement and edit where necessary. #### Cons I can't think of anything mahor to complain about, but I think the pricing could be an issue for some SMBs. I've had a good experience with SignNow. It works well when integrated properly with other software. We fill out all our information on our crew lists in Airtable and click one button to send out contracts to everyone on our crew lists. SignNow auto-populates the information and sends out the document. You're a limit more limited on what you can do with it compared to others. Our clients love being able to review and sign documents from home, and we've saved a considerable amount of lag time between creating documents, mailing them to the clients and having them sign or mail them back. Half our younger generation clients don't have printers, or scanners, but are quite happy to sign online, and with signNow, so are we. The software is super easy to use in adding signature and other fields, and gives all parties copies of the executed documents, which saves us another step on the back end too. #### Cons There are multiple tiers of product available, and we've chosen the lowest tier. The features we like least may be available in the premium package options, so take this with a grain of salt. But I would like to have clients able to upload documents. To have the software remember past customer's names, not just emails (we have to manually type them in, each time, right now). To customize the subject line of messages. Having all my signed documents in one place has proven to be a significant benefit. It is simple to create and send documents to many recipients. It's simple to learn and doesn't take long to master. Setting signing orders is a popular option I use to incorporate document inspection into the signing process. I can tell the product is still being developed, so when I log in, I'll find that something has been changed or tweaked to improve its usefulness or usability. The app is simple to use. Pricing is reasonable, significantly lower than DocuSign and comparable alternatives. The signing experience provided by DocuSign is superior and appears more professional, but SignNow is not far behind. #### Cons It is not as popular as other services such as DocuSign, which makes it confusing when people receive a signing link. Furthermore, I wish it were easier to change the user who should receive when my contact is not the signatory. Clients occasionally have trouble navigating the invitation we send to fill out the form. Sometimes a client's invitation is routed to their spam account, slowing our office's ability to receive completed paperwork. Clients will occasionally use the word DocuSign and expect the email to come from that service, despite being told that it will come from SignNow. This is not a problem with a straightforward solution. Frustrating not being able to get any support whatsoever. They will probably say, "Oh he had a trial account." My response: If you prohibit trial users from accessing support how can they adequately *try* (as in "trial") your product? A "trial" means I have the opportunity to explore and experience all aspects of a online service. If I (presumably) must pay first before I can access any kind of support, why offer a trial? You have many competitors, so it's not like potential customers can't just delete their SignNow account and find a better product/service. The paperwork gets sent to directly to them for them to fill out and sign easily. #### Cons If you add text to a document and exit the document you are not able to go back and edit the text. You have to completely delete the document and start over.
