Pros/Cons
Pros
- I liked that it was fairly easy to set up, and there were a lot of "how to" guides available. I like that this is well supported.
- It's definitely a great business email solution and I would recommend this to others. This is well suited for marketing emails and is simple to use after just setting it up once and off you go.
- Amozen ses is cheapest and very good for deliverity in email space. Their free tier is also generous and their pricing is very pocket friendly.
Cons
- There are silent limits to SES that need to be lifted by reaching out to support. This is both a reasonable step to combat spam, and a frustrating discovery for those with legitimate intentions.
- Once, the SES service was hijacked by external intruders and used to send spam. Amazon currently has no way to rotate keys / passwords, and so this creates an extra burden for users.
- Handling bounces and complaints could have been better. Currently one has to configure Amazon SNS for bounces and complaints.
Pros
- Pricing is fair and reasonable and customer service is great. Online editor, one of the most advanced that I've stumbled upon - real pleasure to work with.
- The preset newsletter templates are visually appealing and easy to use. And whenever a question arises, as always happens when religiously using any product, the customer service is outstanding.
- The help library is rich in short but thorough instructions, not only for the functions but even more important - with the best practices for achieving the goals.
Cons
- There was a recent crash of the entire site which was very frustrating because there was no way to access my account.
- My experience with their lack of support has left a bad taste in my mouth, however.
- The open rate on the newsletter is lower than it should be, a problem due to Mailerlite's servers getting blacklisted from time to time. It's rather frustrating when that happens.
