I was hoping to be able to jump right in with little to no instruction, but there are a few nuances that I was unaware of in terms of HTML code.

Some parts of the UI are cumbersome and feel stuck in another internet era. Some services can be very pricey if you don't have a subscription.

Segmentation (allowing us to properly split our customers up and target them with appropriate emails). Templates: easy to setup, customize and ensure they look professional.

I am a web developer and their API is fantastic to use. It is easy and straightforward.

The custom HTML email editing is a pain, you can't actually edit the HTML in the platform, so you've got to constantly upload, test, and re-upload changes.

Campaign monitor cares about the look and feel, as well as the performance of their platform. The way contacts/subscribers/lists are managed is one of my favorite features.

As such, lists often run into negative numbers after I delete them.

I love that campaign monitor has two ways of creating emails, either uploading custom HTML or using their in-house email builder.

The ease of use is by far the best thing about Campaign Monitor. No background in coding or HTML.

Campaign Monitor allowed us to send our monthly newsletter with ease. This brought in an abundance of new business for the company and helped to grow revenue.

Also, no way to tell the difference between hard bounces, which makes it impossible to automate deactivation of contacts in Salesforce.

It has some nice built in engagement segments (wish they were customizeable), and a decent set of basic integration capabilities. For the price, it does ok.

Excellent customer service -- a human picks up the phone when you call and works with you to creatively solve problems, if you use the Premier tier.

If your business thrives from email traffic then I definitely recommend upgrading to the highest-paid tier account: Premier to gain the best results.

It's easy to use and has some great features like you can import your plain text right from your html in CM.

Best of all is the truly responsive customer service. Sarah was particularly helpful and accommodating when I really needed her help.

The biggest problem that I've been having lately is trying to send a preview email to myself...it never seems to work on a Friday.

You will love Campaign Monitor is you're a developer/designer because you have a lot more advanced customizations and features to play with.

It seems like they are favored in terms of integrations with popular software so that is a plus. Overall I like the feel of the style on the template library and deliberately was perfect each time.

What I like most about Campaign Monitor is it's ease of use. Very easy to put together emails to go out to our data base.

It's style  editor is quite clunky to use and the visual results one can obtain feel fairly limited.

Vero is rich in its features, a single platform designed to offer push notification, workflow management and other cool things for better customer messaging experience.

The user interface was very good and we can  instantly create a post. Instantly we can easily watch any movies in this platform.

Difficult to learn the software. Data compilation can be very complicated and difficult to configure.

User interface is quite complicated for a new user and it is difficult to search new tabs. The server is very slow.

Sometimes they have to turn the search cluster off or a little bug is found. Because it's a smaller company that is a price you pay.

Vero is a very powerful tool with the option to really fit your businesses needs. Super powerful and dependable.

Easy intuitive user interface, restricting the amount of sharing with acquittances is very unique. The quality in audio and video calling is good.

Vero is very powerful and has a solid support for liquid templating language and connecting to external API sources, which is a major plus for us.

Their own CDN has bad delivery rates and you need to integrate your own realistically bad UX. Not easy for novice user to navigate vs other platforms such as mailchimp or sendgrid.

I appreciate that entrepreneurs will always strive to make a competing product for whatever is already out there. But in the case of Vero, it's just completely unneeded at this point.

I also really love having different environments to do email testing/building without “dirtying up” my actual sending environment.

They don't support webhooks or mutiple criteria triggers.

The workflows and behavior generated automatic emails have a great UI, making it very easy to see which emails contacts could be sent.

Customer support is essential. Both the CEO and our account manager has been EXTREMELY helpful.

Some features missing, particularly in regards to flexible segmentation.

Pre-made email templating is limited, but if you know what you're doing with HTML templates, it is of no impact.

The A/B testing options are robust and pretty easy to use.

Poor UI throughout, compared to other tools of this nature (MailChimp for example) nothing works in a manner that feels aligned with modern UI design or user expectations.

The interface is simple but sometimes too simple, it feels like the wrong tab is opened a lot.
