DropSecure’s military grade end-to-end encryption is enabled using randomly generated AES 256-bit symmetric keys on your computer. Every new file version saved on the DropSecure platform automatically regenerates a fresh encryption key. Your download links are protected at all times—for registered and unregistered users alike. Every recipient is verified before allowing access to download the files via 2-Factor Authentication. DropSecure uses ‘public key cryptography’ to protect assets for registered users. Each registered user receives a pair of public and private keys. Data sent to a registered user is always encrypted using their public key.
