I saw them as trusted guide holding our hand through set-up of the infrastructure and processes needed to set the business on course to focus on sustainability and ESG. Most of all, I liked the framework of templates and trackers that allowed us to organise and gather the data I needed. The platform also constantly improved and acted as a brilliant one-stop location to access all of the guidance we needed to run that part of our business. This made it easy to delegate ownership and access to colleagues, improving our efficiency and allowing us to make more progress than would have otherwise been possible. Cons: We were engaged with FutureProof from an early stage so the interface and reporting was always being updated and improved. The service is excellent, the platform is essential and the support is ongoing. Using Futureproof made that mountain seem more manageable. The platform is easy to use and helps keep things in order and makes data collection simple. The support from the team is second to none. When I have reached out it has been helpful and prompt responses. I have a designated adviser on hand, but have also had support from the wider team. Logging the carbon emissions was something that I kept shying away from, but the system that Futureproof have in place made it so much easier. Although I am quite for into the project and know a lot more than I did when I first started, I still wouldn't want to go through the process without Futureproof and would still sign up to their service. The level of detail that is given through there support is definitely value for money. Cons: I don't actually think this is a con for Futureproof because i think the way they run their platform this way is because the BIA is so complex. However, to gain the BCorporation accreditation you need a minimum number of points, but the platform doesn't show the points given. Instead you work towards a % you need to complete before getting it marked. I think I would have liked to see the point system alongside the % completed as a way of measurement. They are incredibly supportive, knowledgeable and passionate about helping businesses become more sustainable and their Slack channel has connected us with likeminded people from across various industries. You can sign up to roadmap and then it has a number of smaller tasks assocatied with it. This makes it easy to tackle small areas of improvment in your business for example mental health or business ethics.They have recently introduced a supplier section where you can email a survey to your suppliers and track what they are doing for ESG. Cons: I dont really dislike anything !
