Midexpro

Excellent overall experience and couldn’t run my dermatology practice efficiently without them. Highly recommend.

PROS

The layout and intuitive use is fantastic. It’s easy to use and the new midexTask feature helps organise patient administration such as checking results. We can take online payments easily. Having used more traditional systems in the past this is fantastic in comparison and they are constantly adding new helpful features and always answer the support telephone!

CONS

We had to have an additional account so myself and my secretary could access at the same time.

Reasons for switching to MidexPRO

DGL was not easily portable between hospitals and had poor customer service as well as being very expensive. Additional charges of thousands of pounds were requested to retain my own patients data when the private hospital that held the contract shut down.

One of the best Medical systems!

One of the best systems out there that is extemely easy to use and[SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team are always on hand to help with everything

PROS

I have been using MidexPro for a very long time and find it one of the easiest systems to use. From accounting to scanning in patient records it is excellent

CONS

There is nothing! I havent yet come accross anything

Reason for choosing MidexPRO

We have always used Midex for many years but as it is a cloud based system I am able to log on anywhere is very handy when my boss needs patient information. The guys at Midex are always available to help. It was a no brainer to continue using them.

Ease of use

The team are all so helpful and bend over backwards to help fix any problem you have. I am very comfortable using this system and am constantly finding new features that make my work day easier. Thanks Team.

PROS

The software streamlines administrative tasks for professionals, enhancing efficiency. It excels in appointment booking, billing and patient records. It is very easy to navigate. It cuts invoicing time down, you are able to submit invoices from just 1 platform rather that 5+. I have recently moved from paper diaries to midex diary which again has made life easier. It is a great system and I wouldn't chose to go over to anyone else as I feel majority of needs are met and if they are not met then the team are open to any suggestions to add to midex to improve it.

CONS

The only issue I have is with spell check in the emailing section but have found that you can check spellings but it is not an automatic feature, you need to click a button to check your spelling and from memory it is an American dictionary. This is a very minor issue though.

Midex Pro review

Great experience. Amazing service from the representatives.

PROS

The software is very easy to use and the team are always avaliable for any queries and any issues are always sorted in a timely manner.

CONS

It would be great if they developed the software to have incoming emails to allow us to switch our entire practice over.

MidexPRO for excellent management of medical and clinical practices.

We had to find a new practice management system in a very short space of time. We looked at other options, one of which said it would take 8 weeks to set up... in this day and age, 8 weeks? Madness.So we called MidexPRO and explained our problem, that we had less than one week to get set up with a new practice management solution and these guys delivered. Nothing was ever a problem and honestly, it was a breeze to get set up and off and running. Many software programs have unnecessary features that no one uses, leading to high expenses and poor customer service. However, this was not the case once we started using MidexPRO.We are very happy with this software and highly recommend it to anyone seeking other solutions. They are a good team and will certainly get you up to speed in no time.

PROS

Outside of all the features needed by medical admin staff and consultants, MidexPRO delivers all of this and more. But what makes MidexPRO an excellent choice is the team behind the software. Our onboarding experience was excellent - the team are slick, professional, super responsive and all-around good guys. If any issues arise, it's an email or phone call away to get a quick response and solution. Training for new team members is thorough, in-depth and easy. Both our admin team and consultants are very impressed with this software and I cannot champion the team at MidexPRO enough.

CONS

We have no complaints or problems with the system. All our ideas are already planned for the future. The system is very strong and easy to use, and we haven't encountered any issues or drawbacks so far.

Easy, manageable and overall great

have used midex for 3 years now with my consultant and i wouldn't want to use anything else

PROS

Its ease of use - being able to manage everything in once place and I am constantly learning new features and having already used it for 3 years learning even more things is great !

CONS

Nit picky bits but not detrimental - it doesn't recognize "/" forward slashes when labelling documents -

Excellent Medical Record Management

PROS

It is very user friendly and straight forward to navigate. Customer Service is excellent. There is always someone at the end of the phone/email even with the smallest query.

CONS

Slow to load sometimes but I think that is to do with my internet supply!

User friendly with the best customer support team ever!

PROS

Easy to use and get used to if you are switching from another system, cloud based so you can access from anywhere in the world, best customer support team, they answer immediately and listen to your needs and are grateful for your feedback then apply changes asap, overall score 9/10

CONS

not enough automatizations and a patient journey is not visible at a glance ie where the patient is on their journey with us at this particular moment, could be ie a dot on a linear map ie booked in or paid or surgery completed

Whenever I have an IT issue - I always look forward to talking to the customer service team - in particular [sensitive content hidden] - he phones me very promptly, has a very pleasant friendly demeanour and very knowlegeable and sorts my IT issue out very fast and efficiently. Compared to some other companies I deal with - where their customer service is bordering on rude and disinterested at best - he is a credit to your company

Midex support amazing

I love using Midex. It does what is says on the tin and they are always updating things to keep in line with the current market. I have to say though, the support team are one of the best I have ever dealt with. Always available to help you, provide alternatives if necessary and their technical knowledge is fantastic. Nothing is ever too much for them and they will always follow up calls or emails.

PROS

This is an easy to use product and does everything you need it to, well everything I need it to. If there has ever been a feature that I would be interested in, I just ask the support team and if they do not already have it they would go away and come back to you with a plan or a way to support what you need.

CONS

When it goes down you cannot do anything but this is the same all software I would imagine. The support team always keep you updated

Excellent software

I have been with MidexPro now for some years and they are always very helpful and supportive. Their product is evolving all the time with new features added regularly and overall it makes my life, as a busy secretary, so much easier and more efficient.

PROS

It is exactly what it says on the tin! Easy to use and the support is great. The ebilling facility is particularly great!

CONS

The third party contacts/insurers etc - deleting out of date GPs/contacts/insurers etc could be made a little simpler.

With document deletions, we do appreciate that to delete something is a little long winded. Those steps were put into place to avoid Users mistakenly deleting documents. Previously, to restore a 'mistake' involves the Software team searching for the document & restoring and often the urgency of the request means deviation from other work and updates. However, if you are looking to remove large amounts of out-of-date data, there is a Purge document found on the Navigation bar under 'Legal'. If you wish to list the data you wish to be removed, and send to Support, we can do this work for you. Support can help with information on what you will need to keep for HMRC reasons and can help with the Purge document as well. Using Midex Pro

Great team on the end of the phone. Always available, you don't have to hang on listening to music. The team know your set up and know your needs making it so easy to do things. If the system doesn't do what you want, you just say and they will see if it can be put in place. Huge benefit being able to speak to people immediately who can jump on and sort any issue or guide you do be able to make changes.

PROS

Can be accessed anywhere so consultants can view their clinics before they come to the hospital. Very easy to use

CONS

Sometimes it will slow up but a quick call to the team will normally resolve this.

Reason for choosing MidexPRO

The fact that being able to have support available makes a big difference. They are constantly looking to offer more things to benefit our businesses

Brilliant medical software that makes my life easier!

For the last 22 years we have been using and working with Midexpro. Their customer service is one of the things that make this company stand out from the crowd. They employ friendly, knowledge people, who will patiently talk you through a problem. I always get a response within minutes if I have left a message, which is exactly what I want from a software company. The fact we have used this company for so many years, shows just how positive our experience is and how highly we would recommend them.

PROS

We are an anaesthetic partnership and use Midexpro for billing purposes only. We have used Midexpro since the early 2000's. It is straight-forward, logical and user friendly.

CONS

There is little to complain about this package. We do not need or use half the features provided and I cannot think of any disadvantages or issues I would like changed.

Midex Pro support is excellent.

Midex Pro helps us do our accounts at the end of year very easily.

PROS

Midex Pro is very easy to use and very user-friendly. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team are very knowledgeable about MidexPro and can sort out most issues quickly for us.

CONS

We were not able to integrate our TDL tests with Midex Pro but I believe that had to do with TDL's inability to integrate?

My Review

PROS

I can recommend Midex Pro highly. I have used for many years. It is simple and easy to use and contains everything you need to do to provide effective secretarial service to your consultant.

CONS

Maybe I like least the encrypted emails. Seems like patient's do not receive them sometimes or are unable to access.

I will take note of the email feedback: it can be difficult to ensure all settings on patients phones allow for external emails to reach them. Sometimes, emails are found in Spam folders which can be annoying. Moving them into the main folder, can change the algorithm for future correspondence which may fix the problem. MIDEX is perfect

I am now starting to invoice through Midex, although would like to be able to email directly from Midex.

PROS

The whole package is easy to use. Creating your own templates makes the process quicker.

CONS

The only thing I don't like is the fact that if I am not using it all the time during the day, it signs you out, which can be annoying if you are on a call to a patient and have to sign in again.

More up to date and more functionality.

Very easy to use, and learn to use. Self-explanatory, and can adapt certain features to match user requirements.

CONS

If there could be a way to personalise the screens- so that if there are aspects that are not used by a user- these can be hidden.

Practice Management Software

Excellent. We have been with Midex Pro since 2005 when we first set up our practice. Customer services all very helpful and on a personal level.

I still struggle with the diary, but this is due to the nature of our practice.
