Pros/Cons
Pros
- Good logging functions for troueshooting. Good dashboards to see the full picture of infrastructure healthy.
- I love the amount of time we save keeping our systems updated and secure and confident that the latest security patches have been applied.
- Easy to navigate and use. Also has the ability to provide easy to read reports to present to higher ups to show them that patching your software is important and Automox was worth the purchase.
Cons
- The scheduling is still relatively naive, it will reboot your computer during a zoom because there's no "benefit of the doubt" if you miss their pop-up notifications.
- Policies did not seem to apply correctly. Still requires WSUS( or risk using online windows updates which kill bandwidth).
- I was using an old Windows Update Server (WSUS) which in itself was a pain, but that only updates windows. Automox updates windows plus all of my other software that I have installed.
Pros
- NinjaOne has been a superb IT management solution. I like the reliability and ease of use of NinjaOne.
- The implementation team, the support, and ease of use while getting great information on all our servers and workstations is top notch.
- Easy to use, tons of features, great cost, great implementation team, great support, and wonderful community.
Cons
- Missing a few features all of what’s missing ninja are in the works of implementing.
- The SNMP support for monitoring network devices doesn't give one the needed in-site into standard network devices. Another weakness is the inability to group devices within sites.
- Some features such as AD integration, maintenance windows, a mobile app and linux monitoring were missing, but they are either being developed or have been implemented since purchasing.
