Pros/Cons
Pros
- Excellent endpoint protection, good quality for the price point. Company is easy to work with and helpful.
- Friendly for personal and straightforward functionality, it is a great malware and antivirus app. Also it runs a quick scan if you connect a flash drive to your pc, which is a great feature.
- Bitdefender was able to protect me during the writing of my thesis and he continues to do so now, I am satisfied. I recommend 100% Bitdefender for anyone looking for PC security and ease of handling.
Cons
- Bitdefender is sometimes suspicious with files that may be necessary for usage in your PC and may sometimes block them which may be very frustrating.
- For MSPs, the reporting is poor. Alerting on problems is very bad, there is no instant notification of discovered malware, just a daily report.
- The interface was very difficult to navigate through. Deployment of agents was not the easiest and clients always reported that they were missing scans even when powered on 24/7.
Pros
- The ease of implementation and the generous offer makes it a powerful tool. The team behind it did a great job and they offer great support.
- With a zero trust solution, you can rest assured that your data is safe and secure. Sensitive mail protection is important and this product exactly does that.
- I just love this software because it just works. Composing of secure emails, email encryption, sending encrypted emails to your intended recipients can all be done effortlessly.
Cons
- The caveat is the lack of integration with Mac at this point. No native Mac email client integration.
- No desktop app for file encryption on a Mac either.
- I think this is first in the market. I am unsure if there is an alternative thou.
