Pros/Cons
Pros
- I love that Bitwarden is free and very secure for my passwords. It is a competitive alternative to other password managers.
- I am very happy that I chose this product, and that it is free. It has been a very reliable option for my business.
- I would definitely recommend using password manager to everyone as using different password for each service improves your security a lot. And Bitwarden is one of the best on the market.
Cons
- I have had times when trying to create a new entry using the browser plugin, that I accidentally clicked off, closing the popup and losing the info I had not saved yet.
- I wouldn't say its a downfall of the software so much as trying to kick the bad habits most people have.
- There's nothing about the software that I dislike.
Pros
- The possibility of being able to share the passwords with people whom I choose I like very much and the integration with other tools is very good.
- I like the ability to generate strong passwords with ease, its ability to scan the dark web for any misuse, and autofill addresses and payment information - Securely.
- The guys over there at Dashlane are doing an excellent job. I especially like the user friendly dashboard and the extend in which you can add only the details you really need to.
Cons
- However, I'm not sure if something went wrong or if there was a problem with the software. Whatever it was it caused me to have to continuously sign in over and over and over.
- I finally found a call, but no one would answer. Upon further review, I saw that SEVERAL other customers had the same issue and lost their money.
- Desktop notifications can be annoying at times.
