I've used their JavaScript client library and found it just as trivial to drop into a codebase as they boast. They also offer a snazzy dashboard to help you manage your registered applications and give you data on your encryption/decryption usage. They have clearly put a lot of effort into making cryptography and encryption one less thing for product/development teams to have to worry about in their application implementation by providing a pleasant developer experience. Cons: I think their are opportunities for Ubiq to offer or highlight additional cryptographic/encryption feature sets to help show the breadth of the expertise and competency that they offer through their platform. Libraries for any language/platform I cared about were available from public code repos, making it easy to maintain and manage over the complete product life cycle. Documentation seems complete and well written, although I didn't need to read the docs to make things work. Cons: Because the complexity or encryption and key management is hidden behind (admittedly excellent) default settings, developers and their business people should carefully consider their crypto needs and threat model when they integrate Ubiq to make sure they get the right settings for their application.
