Pros/Cons
Pros
- Overall, it's been a great site for a newcomer like me, and making everything easy and organized for all legal documentation.
- File Vine is a very top notch friendly group of professionals who go above and beyond and very happy to help their clients succeed. Very hands on with training, onboarding and 24/7 support.
- The best feature has been the reporting function. There are a lot of good things about Filevine and I am glad we selected it.
Cons
- We had a terrible experience with Filevine. The representatives are outright dishonest and lying to the customer just to make the sale.
- You have to pay a third-party vendor to get it to integrate. Perhaps worst of all, they get you to spend a lot of money on a "training" that they claim sets them apart from all other companies.
- The worst part is the total lack of customer service. It might as well not exist.
Pros
- The client portal is great for sharing documents and more secure than email. I have not utilized it as much as I could for workflows/deadlines, but we are constantly improving on that.
- It organizes my clients, tracks hours, prepares invoices and has a client portal for accepting payments. Comfortable and pleasant to use as possible and just as quick and reliable as desktop software.
- The people are great at customer service, I have had great experiences with Leslie Skelly, Drew, and Cat Allday. I like the Reports function and would like to see more Report options.
Cons
- Worst experience with a service provider ever.
- Inability to get rid of button that the client clicks to pay with a credit card.
- I'm having some trouble with the two way calendar integration.
