No incentive was offered Our law firm has been a Neos customer for many years. At the recommendation of a Neos salesperson, we agreed to try the AI add-on for one year. As the one-year term approached, I attempted to cancel the service. My emails went unanswered. Since then, my office administrator has contacted Neos approximately every two weeks for more than eight months seeking to resolve this issue. During that time, the assigned contact person has repeatedly changed. Each time, we have been required to start over and explain the history of the matter despite extensive prior email chains. A manager is now involved, but rather than reviewing the existing correspondence, we have repeatedly been asked to restate information already provided. Whether our cancellation request is ultimately granted is almost beside the point. No long-term customer should have to spend eight months repeatedly explaining the same issue simply to obtain a decision. The experience has consumed an unreasonable amount of management and staff time and has significantly damaged my confidence in Neos' customer service. Sometimes tasks, emails or notes can get lost in the sauce, but with Neos, I can retrieve information quickly. It has great features like AI, case summary, document generation, email integration, and you can post notes and/or emails to the case so nothing gets lost and everyone can access the information. Anytime I don't know how to do something, I can just contact customer support and they're ready to assist immediately. This is a cloud based system, so I can be on the go and still have access to all our cases which is really great if you're traveling. I would say that's actually safer than remoting into my desktop. Overall, I would say that we get a lot out of Neos for the cost which is great, because some other software systems we were considering cost an arm and a leg. It's been a great experience! #### Cons Running reports is very confusing to do. I often find myself just forming reports outside of the system just because it is so difficult to use. Also, I don't like that the system needs to be on a browser to function properly. The reason I don't like that is because Neos does not take up enough of the screen when it's on a browser. I was able to use like an application, which made it easier to look at and I got more out of Neos because it actually fit the screen, but I was told that when I have it like this, the system doesn't function properly. It would be cool if we could have it as a fully functioning application that can be installed not only the desktop but on the phone as well. That would be great for any of us team members, but especially the attorneys, that are on the go...even if it were to be in a limited capacity. Don't have to worry about the security of our files - 2 factor authentication to log in is a plus. I am not in charge of the cost for our case management systems, but NEOS is work every penny! You definitely get the value for the money spent for the amount of time saved to have your files at your fingertips as well as documents and the calendar interaction with Outlook! #### Cons Needs some improvements when it switched over from Needles. Some actions were easier in Needles that are no longer available.
